You should use wax when cutting aluminum. Otherwise the teeth bind up with al. chips, then friction melts the al. to the blade ruining it's temper. Using wax (any type, really.. even candles) helps clear the chips, and any excess heat vaporizes the wax, further clearing chips from the teeth!

I'm with rimjock81. The saw is nice, I guess, but I'm mainly impressed by the blade.
