Bunch of fucking crap, slavery was only abolishedin southern states not in Northern terrotories, and is slavery was the issue of the civil war, why did 2 slave states joined the union against the south?
well I will admit this vid a vague but the general idea still holds true. the northern territories didn't have slavery therefore nothing was abolished in the north. the south and the border states had slaves. the reason why the border states weren't freed is because the union needed their support if they were to defeat the confederacy. the border states could've swung either way, but for the most part were occupied by union forces.

@dizzo95 nope that constitution was torn up and federalism is a union of sovereign entities. You can look that up. We live in a nationalist state due to the Yankee victory. Uniting the states does not destroy sovereignty. I suggest reading Jefferson and Madison. Read the virgina and kentucky resolutions.
