  • For some reason the first time I saw this dance I thought of two children, like a little boy and girl playing against each other. Sort of Love Me if You Dare style.

  • It's like the dance version of a John Green novel.

  • i love how sonya was able to make such a happy sounding song into almost a sad love song that still has her signature twisted-ness to it. its beautiful

  • What's the title of their song/music ?

  • @ZEROakaFRETD Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind theme by jon brion

  • Another symbolic thing I noticed...their relationship was always like tightrope walking...always trying to stay balanced but in the end they both tumble...

  • At first I thought this dance was a little wierd/quirky....but you know what?...theres really so much beauty and meaning in the piece...=*|

  • Holy fuck where the hell did my jaw go, oh THERE IT IS. It's on the floor.

  • it stanks

  • I also appreciate that this piece has no lyrics; in my mind that makes bringing expression and meaning to it more challenging.

Also, "suffocation" pillow fight reference at 1:20 ftw!

  • How related do you think this dance is to the movie? I love the movie and LOVE this choreography; definitely one I'll have to watch over and over and over.

(Nerding out alert!) I feel like it follows the story arc of Joel and Clem, and that a lot of the movements and dancing on the edge of the stage might reflect the instability of their relationship and the memory erasure process as Joel struggles to keep his memories of Clem.

  • Ths is one of my favorites, ones that i cant explain. the 1 that u have to watch to understand what I mean. This...........ohh, is so cute that I neraly want to cry. most people say "fix you" and 'how it ends' are AMAZING I dont like those 1s just as much, yes their good, my most fav are, this one, 'get out of your mind', sabra and dominic hip hop, 'gravity', and lauren and dominic hip hop

  • It's scary to do a dance on the edge of a stage. The pit is usually kind of deep and hard. AND you have to dance it trusting someone else to hold ur weight. SCARYYY

  • freakin sonya tayeh. genius.

  • I loved this one!!!!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this its different but still amazing in its own way, i am completely captured by this piece and transported to a different world. Isn't that what all amazing dance pieces suppose to do? Again love this and will treasure it for the years to come. :)

  • this looks like a scene from "Les Miserables." PRETTY!

  • I can really relate to what this is about.

WHat kind of a dancer was Jose?

  • @iamkylesgirlalways78 He is a breakdancer.

  • jose really did an amazing job with this dance i loved it.

  • I think this is one of the saddest dances I've ever watched. It's one of the few that's actually been able to make me cry.

  • This dance is so underrated. It was one of the most beautiful routines of the season. Sure, Travis's 'Fix you' and 'How it ends' pieces were extraordinary but so is this, imo.

  • What does this dance mean.?

  • @dancerprancer97 It's about a relationship from beginning to end

  • @Maranatha I thought it was about a relationship being lived on the edge?
