I cannot believe this game. It shaped my mind in a way. It developed my perspective on life when I was younger. I no longer have a game cube but I own this game and it looks as new as when I first got it. Tales of Phantasia for GBA was also Legendary.

when i listen to this soundtrack. it just reminds me of my childhood. it was the best game i ve ever played ( with golden sun) .such a lovely story, nice characters, beautiful world. i m thinking of playing it again. maybe i should try out tales of symphonia 2 also. lloyd is in there too but i dont know about the tos2 story.

@FreeZe6422 To be 100% honest, it'll be the best game u will ever play. The lenght and the depth of the story is unbelievable. The combat is balanced and fun to play, especially with a friend. The puzzles need thinking but they wont make u rage. The voice acting (eng version) is great and fit the characters. And last but not least, the music is just truly epic. U made a great choice buying this game !

@SatanicVomit I hope so! Thanks man. I liked ToS2, but this one is better right? I just find it hard to warm-up to the voice acting. Because I was used to that from ToS2 and the OVA. Well I hope it'll be a great game, but I think it'll amaze me anyway. I'm not afraid it sucks.

@FreeZe6422 I can honestly say that ToS2 isnt worthy enough to clean ToS1 shoes. The voice acting is HORRIBLE in 2 but its fitting in 1 to say at the least. The story in 2 is forced, in 1 the guy who came up with it has been perfecting it for years and it shows. Id say ToS2 is an 7 and ToS1 is like 12 :D

I'm so pissed cause I borrowed it from a friend along with Final Fantasy VIII and he said I could keep FFVIII and if I didn't give back ToS he would slit my throat. I gave it back and he sold it along with all his other games for a f***ing X-BOX 360! I hit him so hard. I beat Abyssion on my first attempt on my first file.

@SatanicVomit Eh, there are always emulators. From what I hear and see on videos, game-cube emulation is now nearly lag-less. Better than ps2, despite the console being newer. All they need now is someone to tell them about the game itself.

If you kill alot with Lloyd, Nebilim [The Cursed Sword] Can be better actually, I did an test, did like; 2000 more damage on Mania, (Ofc it was about lvl80 or so)

yeah, each time you win a fight, the sword's attack goes up by 1, but it doesn't show it

Notice: You dont have too wield the weapon too get stronger. The person gets the KILL its alright. Surelly if you try too level your characters it should soon get pretty strong. (Lloyd most probably will get it strongest First.)

This is my favorite Tales of Symphonia song.

This song was perfect for setting the mood after crashlanding on in a new world and escaping pursuit. It was also great to hear it again on your way to get he mana leaf herb, but there was never anything else like hearing this song for the first time.
