Its not a Kamehameah wave, just an energy attack. But like Juggernaughty824 said, he has done it before. When he fough Lord Piccolo in the show, he did it with one hand, because his other one was broken. He also has done it with his feet, during a fight with Piccolo in the World Tournament. So yeah, its possible. Im sure they will have the classic version of the attack though.

the problem with the death note movie is that it holds no surprises to somebody who already seen the show/read the manga, it's like hostpitilizing somebody who's been shot through the head, pretty pointless, this is new, fresh, as for the high school bit, it's likely so the "target" audience or even new fans can relate to the main character

The reason you put the Actors face on the CG body is to give the audience the feeling like its a live action flick. So they aren't looking at a CG face of Goku or whomever, but the actor playing Goku. Looking into his eyes. Again won't be easy to pull off, but the guy who did KUNG-POW pulled it off flawlessly. He seemed like he was actually in that old kung fu movie. Think about it and tell me what you think. ALL COMMENTS WELCOME, GOOD OR BAD..........
Put the actors thru MOCAP with makeup on based on their character and then digitally put their face on the digital body. Everything else is CG. Buildings, cars, KI blast, mountains being leveled all that stuff that makes DB, DB is put in thru the Computer. This way Goku is a kid with a tail, nimbus is a flying cloud and it looks good. DB is a fantasy, you cant do it a full live action film just for this reason.
they say they want to make a trilogy...any real fan(like myself) care about the series they will make sure this pile of dragon dung will tank at box office.
I have my own ideas on how DB & DBZ should be made. MOCAP w/ the actual actors face one the CG body. Not Beowulf or FF advent children. Their REAL face. Its a hard concept to grasp, or do for that matter, but think about it, a pseudo CG/live action Dragon ball. No gay wires, just pure Dragonball.
We are in 2009 and I find it RIDICULOUSLY UNBELIVABLE that people still can't make perfect flying effects... The only decent one is at Superman Returns at best...

I guess you didn't see the Death note Live action movies? surprising? Yes it was, it was new stuff but the main story(Plot) remained.

funny, i heard akira likes the film, and B i do own one of the death note films, wasnt all that different and as for the story bit, it has goku, raised by gohan, and then trained by roshi to fight piccolo who's after the dragonballs....that sounds a lil familiar to me

Goku as we remembered him in the Anime/Manga was Funny, FULL of Confidence, Never backed off, and never said "i can't do it"(Expect for chi-chi lol) But here to a Dragonball fan, I respect your way of looking at it this way but like i said, You can't Just slap a Big name like dragonball in a movie and expect it to go big. And No it DOESN"T follow the plot, How do i know? Akira Toriyama Said so. His way was rejected by Fox.

actualy there was plenty of times goku has said that he didnt hink he could do it..but he tried anyway and akira toriyama didnt say it didnt follow the story he just said think of it as an updated version o dragonball there are plenty of factors in this movie that show it follows..go to my faves and check the camparison video that shows how this movie follows the story

i too am pissed off about the movie and some of the things they did to it like goku going to school and bulma and chi chi doing somthing in this movie. but they do those things becouse it has to appeal to everybody not just the Die hard Dragon ball fans

it looks so low budget... why? seems like they put a little thought into the fight scenes but... no way, and where are all of the characters we want to see? wtf is up with the story? this is whack. jeez, also hollywood needs to stop using cgi, its soooo overdone. We as an audience need to be dazzled at what we are looking at. I miss the days when I could watch a film and see something that actually looked realistic to a certain extent.

The reason you put the Actors face on the CG body is to give the audience the feeling like its a live action flick. So they aren't looking at a CG face of Goku or whomever, but the actor playing Goku. Looking into his eyes. Again won't be easy to pull off, but the guy who did KUNG-POW pulled it off flawlessly. He seemed like he was actually in that old kung fu movie. Think about it and tell me what you think. ALL COMMENTS WELCOME, GOOD OR BAD..........

Put the actors thru MOCAP with makeup on based on their character and then digitally put their face on the digital body. Everything else is CG. Buildings, cars, KI blast, mountains being leveled all that stuff that makes DB, DB is put in thru the Computer. This way Goku is a kid with a tail, nimbus is a flying cloud and it looks good. DB is a fantasy, you cant do it a full live action film just for this reason.

they say they want to make a trilogy...any real fan(like myself) care about the series they will make sure this pile of dragon dung will tank at box office.
I have my own ideas on how DB & DBZ should be made. MOCAP w/ the actual actors face one the CG body. Not Beowulf or FF advent children. Their REAL face. Its a hard concept to grasp, or do for that matter, but think about it, a pseudo CG/live action Dragon ball. No gay wires, just pure Dragonball.
