The whole Superman/Jesus comparison is getting old. BroadwayYouth, you should learn something from Superman. That is that people don't have to think that their heroes actually existed to be inspired by them.
When we posted the video Superman Returns wasn't out yet, so we didn't know how dissappointing it would be or how it would over play the Superman/saviour theme. Tell you what though, I've had personal expiriences of Jesus Christ and seen his power change other peoples lives. Otherwise I wouldn't bother making videos about Him. But I do because He has been so good to me, like you wouldn't believe!
Hey, guys, great job here. Thank you for using Superman, the most obvious of all superheroes as a "type" of Christ. Only suggestion would be to make it even more powerful & penetrating would be to lose the Legos parts...makes it too "young"...even for youth...or perhaps you used that because Jesus is the "LOGOS"... :) Blessings...your fellow bondservant.
Yep, Jesus and Superman are different. This video is part of our work with young people in our town who don't know much about Jesus. What we do is try to find things they know (Superman) to use as a tool to explain that they are not accidents of natural history but designed and deeply significant to a Father who loves them. I'm sorry that you didn't 'get' the video. You can't please everybody, so we're not trying to. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching the video.
First off, jeez! How come it took at least 4 months and 4 hours to answer my comment? Second, well, it seemed to me that Kevin Spacey said, "Tell me everything." to Jor-El and Jor-El answered him by going over the basic background of Christianity (awesome :)!)
Sorry Artman, for some reason I hadn't looked at your comment. Soon as I saw it I replied! When we made the video for our young peoples' cafe' the film hadn't come out yet so we didn't know Lex was talking to Jor-El, it just seemed like a good clip to use. I Wish I had done it as Jor-El, that is a great idea! Thanks for your comments.

Not so good Marlon Brando, but if it's the best you can do...that's okay.

er, don't really understand this comment. Did you think the voice over was supposed to be a Brando impression? Cheers anyway.
