  • I have always liked Chris Elliot but this took it to a new level. That whole segment he put together was fucking genius.

  • Chris is way under appreciated. He steals any movie he's in. I used to love watching Get a Life.

  • Wow what a head of hair chris has back then, very handsome. Thumbs up!!

  • I'm tellin' ya Chris Elliot is very funny.

    And "Sandy Frank" is handsome.

  • Chris: "Get the hell out of my way!"

Dave: "He wasn't even in your way"

  • ahhh-back when letterman was actually funny! good 80's memories!

  • get the hell out of my way

  • Get the hell outta my way. lol.

  • was that an original tune or one used from another series?

  • What about The Regulator Guy

  • LOL, love chris elliot

  • The Fugitive Guy convincingly assumes many different disguises while on the run. But he can't fool Dave... or the one-legged man.

  • Chris is in pretty good shape here: physically and comedically!!! I loved the fugitive guy and the guy under the seats. I also loved the cult show "GET A LIFE", a genius sitcom!!! Watch out!!! They banned the Pee-Wee appearences from Letterman on YT!!!

  • the last episode was when chris and dave went to the amusement park. it was incredible.

  • Please someone find the collection of these skits!

  • The Fugitive Guy was great! I remember the "final episode" they did was really long...that'd be great to see again!

  • That final episode is on youtube now, posted by DuanePostum. Also, there is a great channel of early Letterman clips, including a lot of Chris Elliot, named therealkappax.

  • LOL at the scenes in the show opening that have nothing to do with any of the episodes (helicopter landing, skiing)

  • Yeah your right, it's stock footage to make the opening montage of Fugitive Guy entertaining

  • That's Chris Elliott's current on-air partner Gerard Mulligan, then a fellow Letterman writer, standing at the end of the hallway wearing the white shirt.

John Larroquette - Wasn't he on "Letterman" every week in 1985?

  • Someone please post more fugitive guy episodes!!! They are awesome

  • Classic Chris Elliot! I taped this episode on BETA format back in '85 and still have it....somewhere.
