I may not agree with Congresswoman Giffords politically, but I still hold her in the highest respect. She really is a champion, a symbol of strength, and a clear cut example of determination and dedication reaping reward.

You know, I am not one to comment on these types of stories, but this one really got to me. For this woman to almost have died, and make a recovery this fast is amazing. When I saw her hugging obama it brought tears to my eyes. She is a such a great woman, and I hope she recovers well. I will keep her in my prayers 24/7. God Bless you Gabby.

Watching the resignation today made me feel horrible for this young woman.They mentioned that she's lost a lot of vision due to the shooting.I argue on Youtube often with others but still remember something someone posted after the Tucson Shooting.Someone posted that 'It served that little nine year old girl right to die because she was a Liberal'. I personally don't care for Dem or Rep Party but man, that is just harrowing to hear someone say something like that about a little kid!

@judysavagejones I doubt that she will return. Cause She won't become the person again she was before the assault. I sure hope she will, but its not realistic. A friend of me had an car accident a decade ago and suffered a brain damage. He had luck and survived. Altough his movement and voice skill recovered quickly he just reached approx 90% back, and probably won't reach a higher lvl ever.

She made a good choice, poltic pressure won't help her to recover and gain satisfaction.

As a Canadian, I have watched Gabby Giffords from a distance, through TV and news reports. She is a true inspiration, incredibly strong, and very smart.
