116 mph on a 150 shot would be just over 100 mph on motor? Just curious. I am doing 105 mph on motor with a completely stock bodied 1982 fox coupe with a/c, p/s, full interior etc. Just some stock iron GT40Ps with a flat-tappet cam and Performer 289 intake. Put 234/268 to the wheels lol.
Heri2d. 100% stock long block. Valve covers have never been off. Key thing would be suspension. Upper and Lower control arms, AJE K-member w/ coilover, Strange engineering adjustable front struts. Stock springs and shocks out back. I had a ZEX kit, I have used others in the past, but this kit was by far the cleaniest install and easy. Only bolt on mods where a 75 Accufab TB/Plenum combo, Steeda UDP, JLT CAI, SCT Xcal Tuner, Aluminum D.S., Powersteering delete. Car weights 3100 with driver.
@RTRBURN awasome gt !!i u must have cams and headts to make that much power on a 2v!!what gears do u have and what brand of nos is the best???thanks in advance!!
You just want to make sure you can control the rise and the fall of the front end. Not too fast where it falls back down quickly. It will cause your rear weight to unload off the rear wheels and will cause you to spin. My car made 310 at the flywheel NA, I havent had it dynoed with Nitrous. I would say the 150 wet kit is actually 125fylwheel hp. So roughly 425flywheel hp -17% drivetrain loss= 352rwhp with nitrous @ 3100# w/me. I think mine should run 11.40's with great track condition.
i wanna put nos on my 4.6 interceptor motor can ? was the worse case senario

Wet shot. Nitrous and Fuel coming together rather then just nitrous for a dry shot. Does help out with lean spikes.

I prefer a wet kit, it helps with the lean spike.
