Craig Mathews..what a relentless McGrathesque workhorse he was! One of Cronje's most effective yet underrated hunchmen who ended up with an ave. of 25.00 @ 3.94 an over! Others who come to my mind who kinda underachieved from the early Cronje-years were Kuiper, Schultz and Snell. Am sure each of these would have had long careers and been hero-worshipped if they had plied their trades with any of the subcontinental teams..

dude please! dont know abt rugby...but india simply arent #1 in cricket. That is rightly held by SA. AUS arent far behind, IND are closing in & ENG are a good team. SL is only other team which could be called competent. rest all teams suck! IND have a LONG way to go. Aus defeated WI of Amby, Walsh, Lara, Richardson in 1995 to achieve #1 status & then worked really hard 2 get there. Similarly RSA unseated AUS last year in december., though there was very little 2 separate them in those 2 series.
