  • This really is a great workout, you really feel it the next day even in little places like the muscles between your ribs! I do it 3 times a week along with 14 minutes of my exercise hula hoop (which I do everyday) those two things combined keep my stomach looking amazing!

  • Im making this vidd my workout for the next couple of months. Im really liking the fact that you dont have to do crunches that are way difficult. It is much easier for me to do this workout =)

  • @yadiaries79 completely agree. im on my way to becoming a personal trainer and i know for a fact that crunches can do more harm than they can help. did u know that crunches are actually bad for you because they make so ur abdominal muscles arent very flexible. lol thats also a reason y they are so painful. just make sure ur doing a lot of stretching. i work out cuz im only 5'2'' n weigh 110 lbs. so i feel the need to put on some muscle to look more intimidating lol :3

  • I'm STOTT trained and this is not real pilates at all. No pelvic, shoulder, leg stabilisation. Embarrassing to our training. and its dangerous and the way its done will not work deep abs just outside global muscles

  • i absolutely love pilates! i do it at least 3 times a week after my regular workout. then thew rest of the week i do my workout with cardio. it relaxes me and i fing the positions very comfortable soe of them i can just lay there and hold it for like 10-15 minutes

  • support your head by putting your hands behind your head but be sure not to pull on your neck. Just weak neck flexors. I'm STOTT PILATES trained this woman wouldn't know a pilates principal if she tried. Try a beginner STOTT dvd

  • well wat you also wanna do is make sure your diet fits your workout program. so if you wanna slim down and get abs, start with taking most carb-based foods out of your dialy diet. also make sure you do PLENTY of cardio for at least 30 minutes a day. again this is only you intend on losing the fat you have. you can stop ease up on the diet when you reach your desired physique

  • it might be from letting your lower back come off of the ground. when you do that you increase the stress on your back and decrease the stress on your abs. try to concentrate on keeping your entire lower back firmly on the mat for the workout. it might help!

  • DANGEROUS IF YOU HAVE A BAD BACK DON;T DO IT. The Hundred, Double Leg Stretch, Double Leg Lower she says take your legs as low as you can. What she should have said is take them high and then if you don't start arching (in other words coming out of a neutral spine position) then you can start to lower but the levels shown are extremely advanced and could easily hurt your back. Listen to lower back for arching with all moves, for rib cage flaring, tummy doming. 30% abdominal connection

  • It won't burn your belly fat but strength building exercises promote muscle growth which in turn raises your metabolic rate and helps u burn more fat in general

  • Girls you should not be reading the scales. You should concentrate o being the healthiest you can be. Eating right, doing adequate cardio, and strength training. I mean look at the victoria secrets models, they have curves and muscle mass. They aren't skin and bones. You should know your body and make it the best it can be....girl if you got curves work it!!!

  • this vidio isnt just about being skinny or "pin thin", its about being toned and fit lol...i've always been naturally small-set (size 0-3) i still do these excercises to keep myself toned..especialy after having my daughter...its very healthy and i think i look awesome since i've been doing them!:)

I think women with curves are hot and yes, big people shouldn't be targeting people who are in shape just because their not but just because she says that doesn't mean she's fat.     ur heigth has alot to do with r weight.. my IDEAL weight is 105-110 so yea i SHOULD lose 8 pounds but i feel fine n i look pretty skinny.. muscle weighs more than fat!

  • The cork screw killed by back the first time I tied it. It seems to be getting better and better though as I learn my bodies proper form. Is it alright to do this routine every day?

  • Ab work can be tricky. You should trust your body. If you are sore, don't do this routine. However, if you aren't sore, you can do it everyday. Just don't workout tired muscles. I would recommend you do this 3 times a week max though.

  • The only thing that disturbed me was the 'cork screw' movement but I realized this is because I was making bigger circles than I should have thus moving my lower spine more than it needed to be moved. I can tell by the way you move in the video that this is like second nature to you by now.

  • How long did it take you to get these movements to the point where they are like second nature? And do you think they are easier for women than for men? I ask this because women are generally smaller than men and have less body weight to have to move.
