The car in the last position of the clasification this year, usually Minardi or Prost or maybe Sauber, are in order of 3-5 seconds per lap faster than todays red bull, ferrari or mclaren, a true pity :(
@akeinro i disagree f1 drivers control the car at 200mph+ although rally drivers could do the same f1 drivers would be that 1,2,3,4,second/lap faster which in f1 terms is a hell of alot

man how i miss this ´great times with Montoya Ralf Schumacher MIchael Barrichelo Raikönnen Coulthard Barrichelo etc. the season 1998-2003 were the best ever =) with Häkkinen ..miss him <3 :( there were manny teams wich were good...see sometimes were McLaren in front sometimes there were Toyota or HSBC ...man great great times :(
As I remember it, plenty of people complained about how boring races were. Between Ferrari's dominance, and cars' inability to pass eachother, they instituted a lot of the changes to address those issues. But I guess people will never be happy.
Now the nasty little monster is running for FIA president! Lord help us if he suceeds...His Capability as president I do not doubt, but that is what worries me...
Well, in my opinion, Flav knows how to make things run, how to make things work. He is the unofficial head of FOTA don't forget, keeping the FIA relatively honest.
this was the first season of f1 I watched I really enjoyed it. I remember burti's germany crash really well. I supported mika and mclaren in 2001 I still do support mclaren. but i really enjoyed that season it reminds me of being a child
this season and racing brings back a lot of memorys. I wish f1 racing was like this more often, F1 in the old days and from 1999 - 2005 was great, all the traction control settings etc ruin the sport.
Lmao no chance the angle was too tight and he had no space, Lewis with his experience would have lost it on that part of the track, I think they've changed the brazilian track a little now anyway.

in those days there was so much respect among drivers with just a few exception. These days there is no real respect among top drivers, so sad.

Pause at 2:28 for the evil eyes of Todt.
The one that always had Rubens playing second fiddle to Michael.

I'd love someone like Flav in charge of the FIA, a true leader who knows what is in the interest of the teams and the fans.
