I completely agree. They really should bring out a boxed set of this show, even if the copyright and lega issues need cleaning up. I want all "MeDinners"!!!
Ken Campbell did all kinds of bit-parts on telly in the 70s and 80s, you saw him in loads of sitcoms and live programmes. I think the idea was to keep media interest high to make it easier to do his theatre stuff, or maybe he just wanted the cash!
Anyone have a clue how why Bob ain't on the box anymore? he must have really peed off some big exec or summit, he's better than 90% of the schmucks on the box at the mo, thanks for posting
No probs! He's more into writing and that nowadays- there's an interview on my site. He also says that whilst he's got a lot of projects on the go, getting one comissioned takes literally years. He continues to do a heck of a lot of stuff- he's not poor or suffering at all!
