Kim Feilds book "Harmonicas, Harps and Heavy Breathers" has a swell write up about Jimmy Riddle. He felt right at home with Jazz music and was quite an intellectual. It really did not show when he was hand farting a song or eephin it away but he was an all around genious.

Aside from Roy Clark & Buck Owens! Riddle and Phelps were undoubtedly the most talented regulars on the Show!

Jimmie Riddle and Jackie Phelps operated at a high level of creativity to which most of us could only admire and aspire. Both are greatly missed.
