so i needed a phone.and an ipod... whats that spell? IPHONE!

btw i have used the pre as well. out of the box the pre is clearly better.

but once you get apps for your iphone... wow it is sooo much better...

and if you jailbreak your iphone... its not even fair to compare. because everything the iphone is missing that you could possibly think can be fixed by a jailbreak. you could probably get a pre emulator on a jailbroken iphone

Number one yes Sprint has 4G network but guess what!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They DON'T HAVE ONE PHONE FOR 4G!!!!!! And for some reason there not comparing it to the newest iPhone!!!! Sprint is so stupid!!!!!!! I have AT&T and guess what it gets a better faster signal then Sprint!!!!! This interview is biased towards Palm. There was no real side by side comparison. Palm's only claim to fame is its multi-tasking feature which incidentally depletes its battery life much quicker compared to an iphone's one application at a time OS. Some people prefer a physical keyboard and others dont. They are two great phones which will compel competition between Apple and Palm. Competition is good because it will spawn alot of innovation and could remove carrier exclusivity.

Yes, I agree with the AT&T network sucking. But in all fairness though. You can't match up new technology against old technology. This was a match up between the the Palm Pre and the old iPhone and not the iPhone 3Gs. The 3Gs is much than it's predecessor. So, in reality this test really isn't fair. Just a marketing ploy.

I can forsee this phone having tons of problems, just like the first gen. iPhone. IMO, the 3G S is the superior, since it is a 4th gen. model, they've had 3 prototypes to get all the bugs out. So the iPhone is always going to stay 3 gen. ahead of the competition. Sorry, Sprint, your phone sucks.
