  • I watched a few of your vids and have to say gratz on item rates but the editing and just look of the things you make just wow

  • Every day thousands of mobs are killed due to player made mob traps. Every day thousands of cute little creepers are burnt crushed and drowned for their gunpowder. Please donate to C.R.A.P. (creepers rights association public) and save a creeper today! CRAP will mail you the picture and the story of the creeper you helped with each donation you make.

  • you shouls have buildcraft and get pipes to suck al the loot uo and put it in your chetsts...anyway grate video i liked and subscribed :)

  • no hacks, i dont know, i think he use tomanyitems or INVedit............but very nice and big

  • no hacks, i dont know, i think he use tomanyitems or INVedit

  • I'm trying this for 3 days, and when I saw this video I got the laugh

  • @MrTronikito This is the first mob trap that I ever made, you should check my 8 x19 dirt mob farm, it has the same production with this one and can be build legit in less than 3 hours :)

  • good job

  • wtf nice

  • Dude you should be getting more people watching this!!!!

  • my god

  • Take a look at my latest work

    /watch?v=eQL_ZXqx4RA

  • @GabrielBerbel Yes I know, this farm was built back in the old days when I was young and reckless and was distracted by the flavors of yt. Many people still believe that the trap method used here is good when in reality it was outdated versions ago, and I was one of them because I didn't know any better. I already made a better one, check out my videos and currently I am cooking something even more sinister.

  • @GabrielBerbel yep, this is also more plausible to build legit :)

  • @101m4n And it is also one the last ones that I built legit. After building by hand four of them with the fourth being the grandest 148x148 with the lowest production (1200i) I realized that someone must be really stupid or a masochist if he is building these behemoths just to see IF they work. But in the last days (after watching you videos :)) something has changed, there is a disturbance in the force, I figured how mcedit works and a dark day for the mobkind begins:))))

  • @mindcr4ft sorry forgot to add the tag for my previous comment.

  • Ok I understand the concepts behind mob spawning better now, thank you for that.

But I still don't get how if the the building is 120+ floors high, and you are standing at floor 1, how are mobs still able to spawn at the top floors?

Also, I would love to have some schematics for your 31x31x31 mob Spawner :)

Thx and keep up the epic work.

  • @mindcr4ft I know mobs can't spawn past an 80 block radius on the same level, but is it also 80 block for height too? (I.E. mobs can only spawn in a massive 162x162x162 cube around you? If so, why did you make MS ATLANTIS 81x81? I believe there's a maximum of 200 mobs in an area around you, but your creation could theoretically be made even bigger (especially in multiplayer where the mob limit can be increased). Also, you are standing at the bottom of your Spawner, and not the middle. Why is th

  • @xazoji1 I made a new trap with the same method that measures only 31x31x31 (the spawning area) and produces around 9,100 items/hr. You don't need a huge trap to achieve awesome production, if the trap is too big you have to stay always in the center of it otherwise the mobs which are too far from you will be unloaded. You also don't want the items or the mobs to travel for too long on water canals. The mobs reduce the number of new spawns and the items produce lag which also limits the spawns

  • @xazoji1 Every trap method has a limit to the mobs it can spawn and that limit is related with the trap's size. In other words every trap method works best with specific trap sizes, smaller sizes don't achieve the maximum production and greater just waste material and space because not only they give more room for mobs to spawn but they also give them more room to wander. What u need is balance between the size and the time it takes for mobs to die. My greatest failure was 148x148x100 -1200items

  • @xazoji1 Also I am standing on the bottom because this is the best place to stand. This a gravity/lava trap, the mobs fall from the top to the bottom for quick death and the survivors receive lava treatment. Keep in mind that mobs don't spawn closer that 24 blocks from the player, if you stand on the middle of the trap you disable with your presence the floors around you, wherever you stand must be 24 blocks away from the spawning floors.

  • only 13 items? fail..

  • 0.0..................................

  • HOLY FUCK

Thanks for the awsome techno music and nice intro to the mob trap!

  • Without out a doubt the most awesome mob collector ever. Oh my lawd. Its fucking awesome

  • you're a lunatic. and that IS a compliment !

grats on a BIBLICAL job epically done. i cant give better props than that.

but i confess, after i watched this video i realized I think i ejaculated in my underwear.

  • this deserves WAY MORE than 1,736 views!

  • FUCKIG AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • damn, that's one fine mob farm and an amazing production rate! are you a god? you must be!

  • holy......shit

  • Awsome ! <3

  • it made me cry... ='(

  • That's amazing ! :O

  • This is incredible! It deserves 500x more views! Truly outstanding work, well done.

  • When i get near the collector my Minecraft suddendly freeze and quits o.O

need some help with this xD

  • @Sevah010 Well you know what they say, 3rd time is the charm. I removed the vault door because it was made with the toggle blocks mod and stopped the boosters just to be sure. Give it a try now and let me know if it works for you, I made a new clean save

  • @mindcr4ft Finally it works :D Thx Alot

Best mob trapper ive ever seen xD and it looks nice to :P

  • do it in HARD!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have mvedit but it wont open, its really fucked up

  • @mindcr4ft i know you didnt use mcedit... but you can still upload the schenmatic of it, for everyone to enjoy!!

  • @Varzk Ok I 'll do that as soon as I figure out how mcedit works :)

  • thumbed up, suscribed, commented, the works

  • right. now can we have the mcedit schematic or something pls?

  • Man the mcedit is program full of potential but for me it is a pain in the a**. So I did the next best thing and I moved the building in a new save game, you can visit it there and check out how it is made. Link is in the video description

  • @mindcr4ft i know... it is kinda hard to use.

  • @mindcr4ft I downloaded it, but what do I do now? I put it in the mods folder, but now what? How do I get it in game? Please help me I want this!! :D

  • @TheEverythingChanne1 Mods folder? This is not a mod, this is a savegame, you take the folder from the archive and copy it to your Minecraft savegames folder, after this, load normally like any other savegame. Always make backups of your save games

  • @mindcr4ft How do I put in save folder? Where is the save folder?

  • @TheEverythingChanne1 in the .minecraft folder

  • Nice...But the title confused me because it said "Mob Spawner" in it...isn't something like "Mob Item Farm" 1. lead people to a video they want to watch and 2. Possibly gain more views? (As there are many Minecrafters out there searching for mob item farm design, and this is a good example of a good design :) )

  • @Vincent2128math Good observation, I'll add it to the title to avoid any future misunderstandings. I just was under the impression that these buildings where widely known as " mob spawners" and not as farms.

  • @mindcr4ft When one builds something that spawns mobs, then it is a mob spawner. When one builds something that spawns mobs, then farms items from them, then it is a mob farm.

    Geddit?

  • @Vincent2128math Can you build something that farms items from mobs without spawning mobs? Well, no.

A mob farm in other words will remain a mob spawner even if I am using it as a farm, but there can't be a farm without being a mob spawner first. I named the building after one of his attributes that persist (mob spawner) and you named the building after one of it's uses (mob farm). Anyway as you can see I added both to the title so the different opinions will be met.

  • Care to post schematics? :D

  • @ibm2431 I don't think that I will make a tutorial for the whole tower but I have plans for a video with general guidelines on mob spawners. Until then take a closer look at 1:31, I believe that explaining you how to do it it's much harder than actually doing it :) The main tower is made out of 25 smaller ones (5x5) The spawning floors are 9x9 each, you surround this area with water currents 3 blocks wide that lead to the corners and the floor is ready! The rest is repetition

  • @mindcr4ft Yeah, I was trying to determine what sort of dimensions you had - all I could eyeball is that your currents were three tiles wide. I can tell (from 1:37 & 1:47) you link up the cores for each tower, connect the towers in a column/row that collects under the middle tower, then have a perpendicular stream running from columns 1, 2, 4, and 5, and let column 3 drop directly over the head of the player. Is this correct? Also, are wall-climbing spiders a problem?

  • @ibm2431 Yes spiders sometimes can climb back up but it won't be long until they come back :) I have to make a better video so the design is shown more clearly but until then notice the pipelines at 2:12. There are 2 "levels", of pipelines, on the first level the left and the right side of the tower are connected like this

    o = core's exit - = pipeline x = core's exit and dropping point to pipeline 2 c= loot

    o-o-x-o-o

    o-o-x-o-o

    o-o-x-o-o

    o-o-x-o-o

    o-o-x-o-o

    lvl 2 I I C I I

  • @mindcr4ft The lvl 2 of the pipelines didn't come out that good but essentially on the second level I connect the dropping points (x) to the center.

  • man this is an amazing job looks beautiful

  • wow man nice job im amazed at what you can do in this game this was really awesome

  • markus persson (notch) would be proud of you

  • @LucaasLucaasLucaas Thanks man, I don't know if Markus will be proud, there are so many good inventions out there after all, but I know that I am glad he made this "game". I don't see Minecraft as a game anymore, Minecraft for me is a form of expression like painting but with the benefit that you can live inside your "paintings" :)

  • uhhhhhhhhhh, i don't even know what to say... i am at such a total loss due to the awesome that i just experienced that... i can't even think of something witty or profound to say. in place of that, i will simply say... WOW. good work. now... what do you intend to do with all of that loot?! *whisper*: tnt, tnt, tnt, tnt, tnt. BOOOOOOM!

  • @EpicZantetsuken Well I don't know if it will make you happy, but the subject of my next video has to do with a big boom I caused for... scientific purposes :))

  • this makes my 1000 items/PH tower (the creep-o-matic 2000) seem like a pile of shit....

  • can you show your storage room? xD

  • This makes everything I have ever done in minecraft seem so trivial...

  • mbfgh bjgnhbn i aj fdc cant type i had to cl enaeanen c;ean the jizz of my keydksjfish adjf keyboard

  • wow truely awesome

  • O_O I would LOVE a download of that map.

  • @TheBronzePker Thanks, there are some projects on this map that I would like to make videos about and after that I'll make it available for download

  • @TheBronzePker

    Seconded. That's bloody awesome.

  • how much time did this take you. please answer :P the only reason i play minecraft is to create mob spawners like this. you really inspired me

  • @flowbee9 I think it took me over two weeks, but I am not sure because I was keep experimenting with the various sizes of this design. I m afraid I can't give you a specific answer because I don't remember when I started the specific one. You should also keep in mind that I didn't construct this tower entirely by hand, I used worldedit commands too which makes the whole process a lot easier.

  • wwwwwwwwwwoooowwwww

  • rl o.O ?

  • dude you are real talented! How is your video not getting like a shit load a views? The minecraft community needs to know about this MS trap NOW! good job man.

  • @notgoldmedalchampion Wow, thanks :) I guess it is still the beginning and the video will get more attention in due time

  • what was the thing you did wrong?

  • @Lex1212121 Only after I made the biggest BullS of all time (148x148x110) I got the idea to move in the opposite direction and decrease the size of the spawning floors. The result was loads of spawning floors in a relative small area. The mobs had less room to wander and more traps to kill them :)

  • The production test video /watch?v=dAweT-5XBuY

  • OMG *_* It`s HUGE... Great Job Dude

  • It's.. it's beautiful!

  • So, did you made this brick by brick? Without any editor? Or did you use some form of editor? Because I can't imagine making all these massive structures brick by brick inside minecraft. It would take a life time.

  • @RareVDO Not all of them I built brick by brick only 4 MS and one of them, the largest (148x148x110) was the grandest failure of them all, so after that I used worldedit for the rest, an in game editor. Thanks for asking because I was expecting someone to make me this question so I can make clear that this video is not about building neither it is about mining, in case it is not obvious that all this glowstone is edited, it is about the design that works the best.

  • This kid is going to grow up to be Henry Ford of our time.

....or Hitler who builds massive and efficient concentration camps.

  • Huge effort i am proud of you sir.

  • you sir are a legend

  • massive
