It really is strange because the only other similar bike at that price point is the KLR. The XR650 L is getting old, and is taller, more off-road style and you'd have to spend WAY more on a BMW F650

Yamaha would sell a boat load of XT660's here !

I ridden a KTM and they do not suck dick, They are a great bike. V fast and you can have alot of fun on them, And there got 10 more BHP then the Yamaha xt

But it isnt a moped, Its a supermoto. Better bike and more fun then a XT, XT are a good bike i have been lookin at them. But I like the KTM sound and ride better

So you believe you would beat a KTM in a race makes them suck? KTM duke 2 as 55bhp In the hands of an experiance rider would prob easily out run you on your XT

To be honest I like The XT660X, I would consider owning it and it does look nice, But first choice would be a KTM duke 2

Stock it runs like crap, and wheelies dosnt come that easy! Bu whit these mods its no problem, first and second gear it rise whitout use of the clutch. Just go about 30km/h and open the throttle full up, and it rise easy! Or else move yourself further back on the seat and its no problemo :-D

Sounds like its your bike knowledge that need to be tuned Treejunkie! It allready have been on the dyno to get adjusted whit PC III K&N and the 2i1 akrapovic, its far from stock! All XT R/X pops and shoot like that!
