I lifted it from the MarioPaintReal 2.0 soundfont. The Star is the original sound from that set, and the Yoshi is the same sound lowered an octave.

Nope. All the sounds I use are lifted from other fonts and put together in a custom one of my own for each piece. Cheating, maybe, but I want to make as accurate of a representation of the original music as I can in each composition.

It sounds impressively accurate ; all the instruments have at least a sound really close to their original one and some are even spot-on.

Once again, the notes seem nothing less than perfectly placed and only a few notes sounded weird although it's just me.

Honestly, the only differences are very minor details that seem to come in majority from the program limitations. Everything is so close to be perfect, articulation/dynamics included!

I don't think I've ever seen anything so awesome before in my entire life. It sounds almost identical to the original to boot (i.e. it's virtually impossible to tell it was done in MPC).
