  • Barry's done a lot of good for all those people.I just wish he didn't represent OJ.He knew that SOB did it.

  • 200 is a very, very, very small fraction of the innocent people who are incarcerated.

  • I can't stand this liar. he should fix his jewish nose with all his wealth.

  • @fabiantr100 When will people ever learn that racist comments only serve to "negate" Any credibility whatsoever for the person making the comment. It also speaks ill towards who or ever whatever raised you as a person. I doubt that it's really Scheck you can't stand, as your baseless comment only speaks to an obvious self-hatred. I hope they find a "cure" for you soon.

  • America's Wrongfully Convicted . c0m

  • thank you barry scheck!

  • Can you sue the state of govt if you have been wrongfully put in prison? I can't think of many things worse than this.

  • @ChocolatePoop1301 Yes you can sue if it is determined the prosecutor (State) willfully ignored or hid key evidence, or whether any impropriaties occurred involving your conviction. Many wrongfully accused have sued & received large settlements, however it can never remove the physical & emotional suffering experienced, particularly w/ the loss of years. A strong support system is needed. The system also needs to assign officials having to apologize for those errors, as they rarely do it.

  • Scheck is a true American hero.

  • @yamuvah He's a slime ball. He also tries to get gulity killer out of jail too.

  • He is helping Jeffrey MacDonald, a horrible murderer. When Larry King asked Sheck if he believes MacDonald is innocent, he couldn't say "Yes.", rather said he didn't get a fair trial. Big difference.

It's great to help people who you believe are innocent.

But why help try to get people off the hook who may very well have actually done the crime?

  • Heads up Katie Couric. Sheck was told about my sister's wrongful conviction, how the authorities lied about evidence being DNA tested when it was not. We asked the Innocence Project to DNA test evidence that could exonerate Cheri Dale. They refused to and wouldn't tell us why. We even offered to pay for the test. Not real happy with the IP because of that. Sure makes me wonder what their agenda is. They certainly don't let people leave comments on their own Youtube posts. Fishy.

  • what you are writing does not sound right at all ....they have no agenda but to free the wrongly convicted...

  • If police had misrepresented a piece of evidence that could potentially free YOU from a wrongful conviction, and the Innocence Project ignored it, and refused to tell you why, I would be just as upset with them for your sake. No, this does not sound right at all, nor the Innocence Project we are fed to believe exists. But it is exactly one of the travesties that has happened to my sister Cheri Dale.

  • When did Henry Winkler become an attorney?

  • And I seriously doubt they would specifically tell someone they wouldn't help him because he was white. What an inflammable thing to say.

Many of his most famous exonerations have been white people. And he is going to help the white Duke players who were falsely accused by the black stripper.

They probably couldn't take the case because they're low on funds. They do important work - everyone should help them.

  • The Innocence Project was started by the same lawyer (Barry Scheck) he that stood in court and said DNA meant nothing and was junk in the OJ murder case and HELPED OJ get away with it.

I have sent people to the The Innocence Project with their cases and The Innocence Project will not take the cases b/c the person is white.

  • Scheck didn't say that in the OJ case. He said the technicians' work was so sloppy it couldn't be trusted. You can't convict people based on questionable evidence. The jury was told that by the judge.

  • Thank you!!!!

  • @Hexl702 Yeah, but he's made up for that stupid OJ stuff 20x over with his work at the innocence project.
