is it wrong that this is my ringtone for all the people i used to play ffxi with? this game had some of the highest quality music in gaming history. the game was not made for everyone but the ones who did play and that i met were some of the nicest people ever.

I still play the game, but don't listen to the music anymore. When I do hear the music, it makes me so nostalgic it hurts. So many memories.

@Phyrefly6 Didn't know there was that option. At any rate though why would you even want to do that? That would be boring as hell. Thats like playing as a mage job in the old days leveling in a zone with party that has no music and you aren't locked on the mob so you at least hear the battle theme. Prior to when they changed it so anyone within a certain distance could hear it. WOW holy shit totally forgot about that.

Honestly, this is one of maybe three songs I remember from the soundtrack... although I no longer play, I do miss frolicking around with my buddies, punting Tarutaru in front of the auction house and all sorts of nonsense. (Oh god, please don't tear apart my ankles guys ; -;)

Anyway, great piece! They really nailed it with this one :)

My home :) I just got back to this game after 2 years not playing... Couldn't deal being away from it for so long and the disappointment XIV turned out to be; not that i doubt it wont get better but for now, XI will keep me company as it did for 6 years :D
