  • thank you

  • awesome group,awesome songs.

  • Something about this '81 NYC performance keeps haunting me and making me watch it again. Maybe it's the almost overwhelming darkness. Or the determination on their faces. The way Bernard Sumner looks up just before he takes the mic, like he's trying to find Ian behind or above the darkness...And the furious intensity with which they all play...it's so close to Joy Division but already they're progressing and changing...

  • esa guitarra no es la misma que tiene Ian Curtis en el video de Love will tear us apart???

  • Who you callin' toupee mate? Look at that red rag of an heir you call a cut and tell me whatsit. Then mebee wee ken talk.

  • I never get tired of hearing this tune.

  • is that the actual guitar Ian used in love will tear us apart video?

  • Cool! He's got the rythm guitar in this one that ian played on love will tear us apart.

  • great to hear this track live

  • Early New Order were untouchable. Fantastic.

  • Everyone should love this music, It holds so much more than anything from ...well in my opinion ANY era of music.

  • People at my Job Dislike good music like this. It makes me wonder.

  • @joshama87 That's because most of the people you work with are probably tasteless losers with zero conception of good music or any historical perspective on how music evolved (or should I say - devolved) to its current deplorable state...

  • equipment was stolen soon after this show

  • This is the beginning of New Order as they begin to find their unique sound in NYC ...

  • BS One of the best underrated guitarist.

  • Barney is a lot like Ian on this one (just after Ian's death).

    Crystal is brill.

  • The combination of super-macho Peter Hook and fey Bernie Sumner is hot!

  • ahead, so ahead.

  • Gillian, the thinking man's Kate Bush.

  • First time I heard this tune. Sounds quite a lot like an early version of Blue Monday.

  • ive always thought that lol

  • They were good till around Power, Corruption & Lies. I loved there mix of Joy Division rock and early electronic music. They lost me when they started making upbeat music lol.

  • I like (most) all New Order, but my preference is with Movemet and the early singles from Substance. Joy Division is the supreme dark, and the dance New Order is often too upbeat. Movement/Ceremony is the happy medium. It's a shame they matured so fast!

  • i agrree with you totally ,movement only decent new order album
