Zeno I would imagine doesn't really understand what you say, but is programed only to act like he understands. Robo sentience is something I think is still pretty far away. After all, what does it take to artificialy process a subjective experience? We still don't fully understand how this occurs naturaly within our own brain.

@KeanuGrym While you're most-probably correct about this specific robot, though, you should check out HTM theory of the neo-cortex, developed by the Redwood Center For Neuroscience, they understand quite a bit more than the laymen thinks they do. Exponentially more than they did 10 years ago, they already have computers/machines that can *understand* "large" quantities of otherwise completely ambiguous stimuli. Currently the earliest models are sold to uncover money loss in business models.

i dont think the tec reprsents the time that we are in. Its too old they prob be working on it too long and tec got much better as went on thats why its an old product. I am working on some thing with much better voice rec and movement and response selection and EXPRESSION

It's probably temporary software, they can't add an actual realistic human accent due to voice recognition errors.

I'm amazed at what's going on in the robotics world. You can't believe it! I'm going to buy one of these things when I get the chance, first thing. They'll get smarter over the years as they produce better better product. I bet you could also download better software as well. Many people I know are completely unaware of what's going on. When it finally becomes obvious to them, it's going to hit like a ton of bricks. If they survive intact, I'll be surprised. Right now, I doubt it.
