You've done a superb job photographing steam columns from Mt. Hood's fumaroles; from experience, I know how difficult it is to capture effusions from steam vents, but your video managed to do it! These fumaroles at Crater Rock indicate that magmatic heat sources linger not far below the surface, not surprising since Crater Rock is a lava dome (similar to the recently extruded lava domes in St. Helens' crater) that was erupted only about 200 years ago.
