Just saw him play tonight and it was absolutely ridiculous. My god the wall of sound coming at you is just unbelievable. It's so big, so massive, so perfect. This was my first taste of Devy live and I walked away thoroughly impressed! Un-fucking-believable!

I'm a big SYL fan and don't really care for most (not all) of his solo (other projects) stuff, with the exception of Ocean Machine and a few DTB songs. But just for the record, I can't help but dig this. I'm sorry, but it just got under my skin. What can a guy do??
I understand why someone wouldn't like this, though. But like it or not, even a Devy fan can't say this is odd or unexpected. He does what he wants, and what he does is usually the best of whatever it is, even if you don't like it.
