  • Brilliant! And to lose him by just following process - nice. Lewis once faced police beatings. Now he's chasing votes like they all do. Now we're facing the Demublican's police and of course Lewis won't be there for us at all. Sadly, that was 50 years ago! We have to be independent of both parties of war and corporate power like King did after they sold us out in 1964! Brilliant, and so nice about it. Who needs personal enemies? Stay focused on the economic system! Its hard work: Don't blink!

  • This is what I thought when I saw this. - Life of Brian /watch?v=qANMjwLmo6Y

  • Not only do they act like drones but the sentiment seems to be that all of society must be drones and individuals achieving greatness is a bad thing. Look at the hot bed it became in NYC and SD then you understand why the cops are reacting as they are.

They are hurting themselves by letting the world see what their "agenda" leads to.

  • 0:59 "No singular human being is inherently more valuable than any other human being." Therefore, if one is inherently gifted in mathematics, music, art, mechanics, biology, or carpentry, etc, doesn't this then mean that one shall not use their gifted talent to progress themselves for this would risk one moving ahead of others in society? Is an artist, then, not more valuable to an art school than a carpenter? Are Socrates, Avicenna, Einstein, or MLK valued equally to the no-names of history?

  • @TheRobTynanProject no you are wrong I've been in Occ now for some time--but I knew after this what would happen John Lewis IS if not more important certainly more valuable than most--a chance at possibly learning something was missed a slap at the black community was given--I've seen this before

  • @vivascargill1 You have misinterpreted what I said. The first sentence in quotes isn't a belief I hold. I was merely quoting what was said by the young man in the video. I then asked a series of questions that would challenge the position of a person who held the view in which the young man expressed.

  • They are repeating words do everyone can hear what is being said even if you are close or far away in the back if the speaker says something or someone that doesn't have a megaphone.

  • DRONES!

  • In solidarity Taekwondo hear Occupy America on YouTube.

  • do they only repeat 2 words at a time because they aren't intellectually capable of handling any more? these people don't even know what they are protesting...

  • What's up with the spirit fingers

  • @gaboy2411 They're called "twinkles." Make sure you get your lingo correct. LOL

  • REI needs a kiosk here....

  • The facilitators are full of shit:

    Occupy is a joke

  • what the fuck is this

  • Reminds me of the she is a witch discussion on MPHG. If a duck floats...

  • Why couldn't John Lewis just scream out "Mic Check!!" like everyone else?

    This is just stupid.

  • P.S.- You Racists don't have a clue either. No side wants you!!!

  • Fucking hippie morons

  • I swear the movie "idiocracy" is a documentary sent back from the future. It's people like these that began the downfall of this once great nation. As far as I'm concerned their all a bunch terrorists. Burn hippies burn!

  • @RiseOFtheWhites Yeah, democracy is fucking idiotic. :P

  • What waste of time

  • "Red October", Come on peaceful protesters, show your true colors, break out the "Red Hammer & Sickle" flags. Bolshevik trash!

  • what is this I don't even

  • They are running this like they are on twitter.

  • And maybe a president who stops this cult mentality bullshit before it gets out of hand the next time around.

  • We're going through tough economic times. The answer is to just shrug it off. Look at AFRICA you ungrateful liberal shits. NOBODY in Africa is crying because you can only afford an Ipad. NOBODY in Africa is crying because you're having trouble paying back your loan to COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY! These people don't have a clue what they actually have. Good thing is, its the republicans who have all the guns. All these guys have is hand signs. What is the world coming to, America? Civil war?

  • All you politically obsessed fuckers are one sided dickheads be a god damn independent and this shit can be avoided an stop your bitching it's not that cool to complain you should be happy you live in America and not a communist fucked country and no it's not bushs fault it's the government if you people haven't noticed it's not actually the president who makes decisions it's the bitches who are whispering In There ears they are just figure heads and Obama is fuckin up the whole party too then

  • Half of the people in that protest are liberals or hippes or people who don't know what heir talking about and want to feel special I agree with the person who said liberals are running this country to the ground

  • Funny how everything was Bushs fault. So the lobs get their way and now everything is way worse. So it's still Bushs fault. But after several years of it getting worse with the king of all lobs at the helm we must start blaming others, like wall street and corporations.

  • Liberals are running our country into the ground:(

  • First these protesters against corporate greed allied themselves with the thugs who were out to rob London stores some months ago.

Then they said free speech was a privilege, not a right.

Then they tried to defend their hypocritical use of corporate media and goods.

Now they're repeating things and using hand signs like a group of deaf kindergartners.

    ....

I think Occupy Wall Street just lost ALL of its credibility.

  • I'm also registered as democrat, and got through about 65 seconds of that bullshit before I had to stop the clip. When I'm talking, shut the hell up until I'm done. Yeah, I get the point: we speak as one. Now to truly drive the point home, everyone here is going to be paid 7.25 an hour for the rest of their lives to prove we're all equal...hey, where's everyone going?

  • Sick people here boy! God we are screwed with all these nut jobs running around.

  • If he want's to speak, he can wait just like everyone else. OWS will not be co-opted by anyone.

  • I live in Atlanta. I'm moving now. I don't want to have anything in common with these lunatics

  • This is fucking retarded. I'm a Democrat, and this stupid chanting shit is, well, shit.

  • I hope SNL does a skit of this creepy commie bullshit. They'd totally get Keenan to play John Lewis.

  • Laughable commie retards. I hope the Atlanta PD calls in German Shepherds and riot police with mace and billy clubs to bust their super-annoying skulls in.

  • Looks like the UN trying to make up their minds.

  • What a bunch of stupid people.

  • We r free to speak and think the way we plz. Jesus this country was built on those morals, why say nigger lovers? If history hadnt gone the way it had, the colonist would all still be sucking king georges million dollar cock.

  • @docwondernuts what's your degree in? Being a racist is really stupid.

  • @sethpajak Organic chem undergrad from Wash. U. STL MO

  • @docwondernuts Don't forget. MD Wash U STL MO and member of FACEP

  • @docwondernuts OK so you're educated, so what's with the name calling and racial slurs. I imagine at some point you have had black teachers or professors. Did you use racial slurs when addressing them?

  • @sethpajak - Being racist means that someone believes in the genetic superiority (or inferiority) of themselves or others. You could say that poster is bigoted. I'd also debate wether being racist is stupid. For example, who are faster runners? Black people or white people (as a whole not individually). If you answer black or white people then you are racist. If you answer they are equal then you've never seen the Peachtree Road Race.

I'm a biochemistry major and I even know that.

  • This is why the United States government functions as a republic, NOT a democracy. Also why you don't give every random idiot a voice. Embarrassing to watch.

  • @docwondernuts your are simple and boring. Is that all you got, name calling? I challenge you to make a point if you can

  • @docwondernuts That statement is really dumb considering they turned away a Democratic African American Congressman.

  • Please correct me if im wrong but is not what democracy is about? If the protesters are right or not in their reasoning is irrelevant. They have have every right to protest!!!!!!

  • Talk about retards to the highest.. this is the crew who are. Fuck them all I hope they die.

  • I don't appreciate mindless idiots who hasn't bathed for weeks, let alone blame others for their own doing.

  • @MrQuijadaj You got that right.

  • these people are the pure definition of social decay

  • @7767daniel No fucking shit! They are awful vermin infested pigs to partake in such crap.

  • Well, I guess this is what democracy looks like.

  • They are not allowed to use a mike or anything like that so the purpose of everyone repeating what the speaker is saying is so everyone hears. Duh! You come here to leave your negative comments and all you do is look stupid. And btw, hippies stand for pace and positive change for the entire world, you should try it some time

  • @Catskywatcher113005 yet they do nothing but sit there and complain. They don't try to "change" anything. They just complain.

And I've seen many MANY people who are a part of this group that want to turn this into a violent riot.

  • @pseudohippie55 I strongly believe that we can get our point across without riots. The only reason there has been some violence is because of the cops. And what do you suggest we do to them listen to us? I believe that we are not just fighting for financial and political reasons, but also for humanity. We cannot go on as we are because we will eventually destroy everything that is good along with our resources and our mother earth. What good is your money if there is no earth.

  • @Catskywatcher113005

YES!! Thank you for that, everyone is judging without knowing why they do what they do. And I love hippies too. I was born 10 years too late to BE a hippy, but my heart is a hippy.

Allow me to repeat your other point Catskyhippylover - The OWS group here in the video, in Atlanta, HAD TO HAVE A PERMIT to gather and protest, and the permit says "no microphones". They hold these sessions to help the protesters learn to "speak with one voice so it is LOUD ENOUGH".

  • Why do we judge every single person, place and thing. Why can't we live without these distractions and live free of hate. Who made what is right and what is wrong. Not u then leave it to who did. I know it's hard but how long is these issues gonna go on. Too many repeaters, just find out who ur following, what your following, and what there following because it comes from somewhere or someone. U be the judge on who.

  • This whole hippie gathering can be summed up in their own words.

"We don't want anything, we want EVERYTHING". They don't want the rich to pay their fair share, they want the rich and the gv't to pay for their WHOLE lives. There was even one prominant member of the group who was 38 years old and is going to some Ivy League school. She has 3 kids so she gets WIC, the gov't is paying for her tuition via financial aid, but now she wants them to pay for the student loans.

    I say fuck no.

  • @pseudohippie55 Really? do you think the whole movement is like that? It's very simple and pitiful for people to lump this group into "hippies" but what about the members of this group who are educated and not employed? That is a reality and that what is happening, can you not see that?

  • @sethpajak considering the ENTIRE greoup chanted "we don't want anything, we want EVERYTHING", yeah. I'm willing to believe they're all just the hippies of the 21st century. Look at any shots. You'll see people dressed like hippies with no shoes playing bongos in the middle of the street.

I know there are members that are trying to look for jobs, but they don't see the reality. The rich are not to blame, our piss poor gov't and the banks are to blame.

  • What a bunch of mindless idiots. So stupid and brainwashed that the must all chant another's words. You protestors are all fools and have been duped.

  • How weird is this? Twitter talk on the screen is what it sounds like. No wonder this country has problems. Next the leader brings out the Cool-Aid.

  • Okay Occupyers, you need to chill out with the call and response group-speak! It's a form of mind-control and manipulation and a petty power-trip for anyone calling "mike-check!" People have been been addressing crowds for years without resorting to this type of pseudo Orwellian Group-think.

  • It's the Borg

  • Are we not men? We are devo.

  • all I could think when watching this is how weird this looks and sounds..... Why in the world are these people repeating each speaker??Its so robotic and cult like! And by the way our govt does allow us, as Americans to be equal and to be treated fairly as humans--we are all able to make our own way in this country IF you want to- the choice is yours to make. The govt isn't here to take care of your needs- that's your own job.

  • I have read an article that states Lewis arrived in the middle of the GA meeting and had not asked to speak but someone else had suggested it. Under these circumstances I can be more understanding of what occured in this video, Lewis himself also was fine with the way things turned out.

  • 1956 : "daddy I want a car like that. well son work hard and one day you can buy one"

2011 : "daddy I want a car like that. well son if he's got one then you should have one too.

gadgets, Internet, media, lack of structure in the homes has made MOST of the youth PURE SLACKERS.

  • That would be a mistake dismissed these fellows. What you are seeing is a direct result of 9.1% unemployment in this country. What you are seeing here is a viral gathering, this is something new and interesting. I personally do not agree with their opinions and am a right wing republican, but am smart enough to know that a lot of people are listening to them.

  • @PoliticalSmackdown: So easy to dismiss a group of people, based on a 5 minute video...isn't it?

  • @meltedpriest maybe they will learn something, maybe not

  • I dislike what they did, what the 60 Walton Clique did. But I give you a thumbs up for your video.

  • @UnforgivenVideo Thank you, I watched yours

  • Anarchy doesn't work and never has. Work for change from within the system.

  • The Tea Party is hateful?

  • rumpole33 : Here's the thing...for good or ill...consensus is a government process. Imagine if John Lewis had acted the same way in front of Congress. Maybe they'd allow it...maybe not. He was showing disrespect (or ignorance) for the process. And yes, yes, he's a great man...etc: but he's also one person, with one voice. I just don't understand why he didn't simply raise his hand and made a statement, when called on. No respect for the process.

  • @meltedpriest Do you know if Michael Moore or Cornell West had to go through the process when they spoke in N.Y.? I think if the process is more important than hearing someone who wants to speak in support of the cause, the process needs to be re-examined.

  • @sethpajak NY is NY: and LA is LA. And, I have no idea what Moore, West, Goodman or Klein (who've all spoken) had to go through, before they spoke.

So many jibes at a process that folks don't understand, and like to be critical, without any direct experience....sad, really. What are you folks all afraid of?

  • @meltedpriest I'm not afraid of anything in regards to this conversation, just expressing my opinion. Isn't that what this is about, people expressing themselves about the things they think are wrong. You don't need to live in a park to to exercise the first amendment. I get what is happening here. I hope it goes beyond protest and turns into something productive that is a positive force of change.

  • @BardoPhoenix I posted this video and I have not deleted any post. I haven't been able to read them all. I want people to have an open discussion, I will not delete any post regardless the opinion.

  • @sethpajak I removed my post that was hateful. Maybe Youtube just messed up when I clicked the post button. I apologize for insulting you.

  • @BardoPhoenix apology accepted, no worries, I have made mistakes like that before.

  • @sethpajak Wonderful. Thank you for your graciousness.

  • Wow. Those Occupy Atlanta people are really ignorant. To have such an honored person give attention to their cause would have been an honor. He has been fighting for equality for all since before most of them were born.

  • @neeooh Ignorance is the human condition. Though some of us are fortunate enough to contemplate our own lack knowledge, most would rather assume they know what is best/right.

  • @BardoPhoenix ... How will we ever progress if we can't even express when we honestly think other people are doing the wrong thing for lack of thought or knowledge? How can you assume that we are all equally ignorant on all topics, and thus, cannot ever call another "ignorant" on a certain topic/issue? ...But, hey, you know best, right?

  • @BardoPhoenix ... How will we ever progress if we can't even express when we honestly think other people are doing the wrong thing for lack of thought or knowledge? And, how can you assume that we are all equally ignorant on all topics(, and thus, cannot ever call another "ignorant" on a certain topic/issue)? ...But, hey, YOU know best, right?

  • @neeooh I know nothing except what is best for me. Pushing that onto someone else is called oppression and turns into tyranny. Look at what we are in now. Someone thought it was best to have law and order(which is a good thing) but it has turned into Cops abusing their power and hiding behind a "Cop Code of Honor". So no, I don't know what's best. I just know that these people are ignorant if they think they're going to kick out the 'Bad Guys' and throw in some 'Good ones'.

  • @ksgolfer8 Then you are aware of the Marines lining themselves up in front of the protesters you're going to shoot at? I'm sure you'll make the headline news for your ignorance. I can see it now "Ignorant ass drone shoots own comrades for a Government that doesn't give a shit about him at all"...

  • is it me or are these people acting like a Big Cult?

  • @PoliticalSmackdown definitely you. They're not allowed to use megaphones.

  • @meltedpriest Seriously these people are all mentally ill. this is a cult nothing more.

  • I'm getting tired of this stupidity. It's late and I have a headache.

Good bye. And thanks for a good debate.

  • Biggest US Oil Suppliers

    1. Canada

    2. Mexico/Saudi Arabia

    4. Nigeria

    5. Venezuela

  • @daguzify As I said, we depend ALOT on it.

Hey. Where's the US on US oil supplies?

N/E. That's why we need to drill in our own country.

It would provide so many American jobs and help our economy greatly. Not just from an oil standpoint.

  • @pseudohippie55 Infrastructure spending would help construction crews to work again and their companies would buy equipment from the private sector. Unfortunately, Obama decided to fold under Republican pressure and the spending bill he passed in 09 had 34% of its spending on tax cuts....major fail.

This is why I protest.....why cant we have both.....get that pipeline from canada started, along with drilling while the democrats get a better jobs bill with infrastructure spending that helps.

  • wtf kinda koolaid drinkin brain washed nuts have we got here?

  • Just take a look around the world

and you’ll find that nearly all mass media

are owned and controlled by a handful of conservative capitalists.

We must devise and implement alternative methods of distributing our news,

our information, our ideas -- ppl united worldwide to take a stand,

    to tell the truth!

    - Anti-Flag (Underground Network)

I've seen a lot of bailouts in my life

But why is it I never see a bailout for the homeless and the poor?

    - Anti-Flag (The Economy is Suffering...Let It Die)

  • @AlmostaFlipinSkater LMFAO. that's rich. That's fucking rich. is CNN owned by a conservative? I doubt it.

Big ol Ted Turner owns it.

    And he's FAR from conservative.

  • @AlmostaFlipinSkater The NY times are not. Many mass media outlets are not.

  • *******LOOK********

Even if this does not have an affect. All of you people are now talking about it.

what rights we have. what this is all about. OWS has got people in a up roar, the news media in a blackout, and the government really not knowing wtf to do. KEEP IT UP KEEP IT GOING THIS WILL CHANGE THE WAY WE ALL LIVE!!

  • It is comforting to see all of the masses of people come together !!!

  • God bless Occupy Atlanta!

  • We need GOOD PAYING jobs for all folks !!!! Force big business to bring our jobs back home !!

  • So, when does the shit go down ?? Riots, rocks, bottles, burning etc.???

  • These kids are upset they cant afford their Iphone5 but their too good to work low wage jobs b/c mommy and daddy promised them a good job after they graduated from their diluted college.

I walk by stores that have "help wanted" and I then I see this. Its just sad how spoiled this generation has turned out to be. Sad, but expected.

  • agree with them or not you have to admit the people mic is just an amazing thing it reminds me of Athenian democracy which is the only true democracy to have ever have existed

  • If you allow congressmen and senators to speak -- Democrats will take over OWS the same way the Republicans took over the Tea Party. The movement is bigger than unions, parties, jobs and old ideas. It's something new and interesting to watch unfold.

  • Who the fuck said these were anti-capitalist rallies?

They are rallies to restore the republic you fucking idiots.

  • Fact:

63% of Obama voters were college educated.

34% of McCain vother were college educated.

States with the most unemployed are in the southeast..(Red Country)

So this ignorance about "getting a job" is just another way the Sheep follow their leaders example.

These movements are worldwide...in South America, it is a 23 year old Communist student that holds the balls of the Reich Wing presidents. In Europe, it is also the youth that have stood up.

  • @daguzify Actually, moron Nevada has 25% unemployment. A HUGELY democratic state.

  • HAHAHA i cant wait till the kool-aid is served.

These guys are too funny. Look at all those unemployment checks. Fancy cameras, fancy phones, nice clothes... jeez it must be good to get that $12.00 an hr. unemployment check.

Some advice: Hair cut and get a job.

  • Here's an idea: stop bitching about how the rich are rich and get jobs.

Most of those who are rich made that money the hard way. They worked their ever living asses off their entire lives to amass their fortunes. They deserve that money because they worked for it.

I honestly don't think its fair that people who EARN their money fairly need to give it to those who don't want to work.

"A peny saved is a penny eared". NOT "A penny saved is a penny taken from a rich guy and spent on booze".

  • @pseudohippie55 You are clueless.

Occupy Wall Street began because of the corruption that our financial institutions have contributed to our politics.

Teabagged Americans were "against" the financial bailouts untill their leaders told them to think and be angry at other things...like Unions.

I have a good job and great health insurance but I have donated and participated in these movements.

"A penny saved is a penny given to political leaders so the rich can get richer and fuck the rest".

  • @daguzify I'm clueless, and you're pathetically immature.

When you want to act like an adult, then you can try to debate. Until then, try to grow up a tad.

And I guess unions are great, huh? Like the Crystler union that let it's employees smoke crack on the job! BEST JOB EVER!

  • @pseudohippie55 You just generalized that unions are bad because one union had substance abusers on board... not very sound reasoning if you ask me bud. Unions help people have a voice that can reach the huge industries that its workers struggle with to make working for them worth while.

  • @babymilo5 and how many unions have had people protesting hem to get better pay when they make well above min. wage and have free health care.

They're all grredy and down right corrupt.

MULTIPLE unions gave millions of dollars to Obama's campaign.

Some unions are good, but the majority is corrupt

  • @babymilo5 I've seen people who are employed by the city and by unions "work" on a sidewalk.

They sat there, moved on piece of brick, drank water, sat for 2 minutes, repeated.

The vast majority of unions are corrupt.

    Period

  • @daguzify Wait wait wait. are you saying its not ok for corporation to give money to a political party but its ok for a union to? Are you implying that unions are not corrupt, dont have a political agenda, dont contribute to political parties?

    MIKE CHECK. GET A CLUE.

  • @Fischkid2 Wait wait wait. Are you making shit up? Find the part in my post where I said Unions should be okay to contribute to political parties.

    I will wait

    This is too easy

  • @daguzify You scoffed at the Tea Party's hatred of unions, which would lead many to believe you support unions, while unions do the same thing you are complaining about.

THATS why the Tea Party is rallying against Unions.

But you tried to argue that unions are not corrupt.

    Get it?

  • @daguzify You used unions as an example of people who are these protests against corporations. Its not hard to read between your lines, you dont have to write it out.

Judging by the number of post you have on this wall I'll go ahead and assume your a zombie troll for this happily unemployed mob protest.

  • @Fischkid2 I used the ignorance of the teabaggers following what Faux news says and going with it. Faux news says Unions must go down and teabaggers forgot about the Financial bailouts and went after unions.

That is the example i used for the ignorance of teabaggers.

I am employed and I give my time and money to this cause and the cause of international protests as well.

ALL dirty money in politics must be taken out and the Patriot act should be burned

  • @daguzify so in turn, you said unions are not corrupt, while in reality they are horribly corrupt and should be shut down.

    They benefit no one.

  • Comment removed

  • @daguzify you never said it directly, but you nearly implied it directly. Only an idiot wouldn't see that.

And you're right. It is too easy to see your message.

    Rich people are bad. ARGG!!

  • @daguzify The rich stay rich because they WORK for that money. They EARN it.

These idiots are just hippies of the 21st century. They just sit there doing nothing when they could be looking for jobs.

And I've seen idiots like these on food stamps and welfare. I worked at grocery stores nearly all of my working life until I got my job in health care. The majority of the people on food stamps have up scale cars with the power back door latch and leather seats. But they are on food stamps. WTF?

  • @pseudohippie55 The rich stay rich because they have the system working for them. Taxes for the top 1% are the lowest they have been since the 1930's.

Getting dirty money out of politics, killing the 'Patriot' act and cheaper education are the major reasons there are protests right now.

Wall Street killed the world economy and instead of regulations, the asked for bigger risks and less regulations....and so far Washington delivered..Reich Wingers and Pussy ass Democrats are to blame.

  • @daguzify yet Unions do the same things. Hmm.

Not all taxes on the rich are the lowest. The rich pay 35% income tax.

How much does the lower 40% of Americans pay?

    0.

    not a cent.

  • @pseudohippie55 So you neglect to count all of the tax loopholes and then ignore the fact that there are taxes for Gas, and a sales tax in almost every state.

In reality, the top 1% pay a tax rate near 15%. So no, it is not the same.

  • @daguzify There are sales taxes and other excise taxes. You also forgot to mention that we have the 2nd highest corporate income tax on the planet. Nonetheless in tax revenue the top 1% pay 40% even with the loopholes.

  • @Aegius - U forget that the US is 27th out of 30 OECD nations in collecting corp. taxes. from 1998-'05, 2/3 of US corp.s & 70% of foreign-based corp.s doing business here paid $0 in fed inc. taxes.

The top 1% got 80% of income from 1980-2005 & they're sitting on over $40T in assets, about equal to 150million Americans.

The top 1% tax rates are base more on capital gains tax rates (~15-17%) than is the case for the other 99% of America, which pays regular inc. tax rates.

  • @rumpole33 You are referring to tax collections. I referred to tax rates. Here's an idea: cut corporate taxes, so that businesses seek to do business here and the corporate tax revenue INCREASES. The top 1% paid 40.2% of tax revenue according to the NY Times. The point is that increase taxes leads to tax evasions, while decreasing taxes means more activity which means more revenue. The Laffer curve applies to corporate taxes as wel as individual income taxes. We don't have $40 T in our economy.

  • @Aegius - What is any % of $0 in fed. inc. taxes? Also, if u CAN'T collect the taxes, then what's the point about the tax rates in the 1st place?

The reason the bottom 50% can't pay 40% of the nation's inc. taxes is because they don't have money...

But the bottom 95% has paid more inc. taxes than the top 5% - over $700million more.

US millionaire households = $40T assets

    US corp.s = over $2T assets

Tax evasions done via broken tax code.

  • @Aegius

Top 1% pay 35% income tax....before any loopholes.

  • @daguzify prove it. All you're doing is spouting numbers.

    Show us some proof.

  • @daguzify protests don't solve a thing. It's like starting an online petition.

Protests like these are usless and sooner or later, they'll turn violent.

THATS The only way the protests in England worked. Is that what you want?

And they have a far more Socialst society than we do

  • @pseudohippie55 Ask the Chilean president how he feels about a 23 year old Communist Student running the negotations for cheaper education in Chile and South America.

These protests work and the President of Chile found out the hard way that when a young girl can get 150,000 people to shut down Santiago in about an hour......you take her seriously.

  • @daguzify yes! RUIN A CITY! that'll show them!.

You want violence in other words. You want a huge protest. That'll accomplish what you want, but in the worst and most extreme way.

  • @pseudohippie55 So far, the protests in Santiago, Rio De Janeiro, Buenos Aires..... have been a success. The violence is minimal.

So I dont know what protests you are talking about.

BTW.....those protests in Brazil and Argentina were because the Chilean Student arrived in those cities to attend. She has alot of power for a supposed...hippie.

  • @daguzify The protest in England was horrible violent. many people were killed. Yet yo support it for some reason.

  • @pseudohippie55 I support a protest when it is necessary. The protest in England were necessary but people used them to riot and steal.

They are the Wall Street of the poor.....you know, the ones that fuck everything up.

  • @daguzify so where did you get that 15% nonsense? Just curios.

  • @pseudohippie55 "stock option accounting double standard" Allows corporations paying executives stock options to deduct more than their actual expenses. United Healthcare Group paid out its CEO 9 Million in stock options and claimed a 315 million dollar tax deduction.

This is one example how the rich pay less. The system is set up to distribute wealth to the richest in this country.

  • @daguzify that's one example.

Much like how Obama allowed GE to pay NO TAXES last year because they gave him money. They are corrupt, yes. But the vast majority do pay their taxes.

  • @pseudohippie55

Are you Serious??????? "Obama alloed GE to pay NO TAXES"

The reason GE actually recieved a refund in taxes was because they invested in 'Green Energy'....not Obama. That was some silly shit by you.

I am against what GE did as well.....they ship jobs overseas and then they get a tax refund??? Fuck that.

Oil Companies are the worst and the Kock Brothers are a great example of that.

  • @daguzify GE paid no corporate taxes, b/c it posted a loss. You're right that they moved jobs overseas: corporate income taxes and too many regulations. Oil Cos? Yeah, get rid of 100s of pages of regulations that force them to drill at high depths rather than on land. Then they won't go overseas either.

  • @Aegius Drilling here wont do much to help with the demand and its hard to get people to tell its governmnet to drop safety regulations on oil companies when the Koch Industries let teenagers die from a pipe leak they knew about or BP just laughs at regulators and the hundreds of violations they recieved last in one year.

  • @daguzify it will help tons. It will cut out dependence on foreign oil. Hell, if Chavez decides he wants to increase the price we give him for oil, we have no choice but to accept. We're at his mercy and his whim.

  • @daguzify oil companies are regulated out the ass. They can't do anything without it being regulated. That's why they aren't drilling in America, and that's why we're forced to buy from Cuba.

If Cuba stops suppling us, we're in deep deep trouble.

Hell, China has multiple drill sites in the Atlantic Ocean. Why can't we do that?

  • @pseudohippie55 Our #1 and #2 oil suppliers are Canada and Mexico.

    Get a fucking clue

  • @daguzify we still depend ALOT on oil from places like Venezuela. If we drill here, we don't have to depend on the prices set be others. We need regulations, but there is such a thing as too much regulation. If we over regulate, people will go to other countries with less regulations, and this country will go to hell.

  • @pseudohippie55 I agree, we cant over regulate.....but the biggest oil companies in this country have proven that they wont follow the BASIC regulations....so why should we de-regulate?
