  • YOUR VOICE IS LIKE Tom Arnold's

  • This excellent modification in the garden would be AWESOME if I did NOT live in Portland, Oregon. Will be yet another very wet cold spring & summer here :( I envy you guys down south! Thank you for your very helpful videos. Keep up the awesome work!

  • This three sisters garden seems similar to the Milpa system the Mayans used(still use). The Native Americans like, the Iroquois used the Three sisters technique. I definitely think the three sisters method is really excellent for getting more than one staple out of each space.

  • When is the best time to start this in New England?

  • My sunflower has over ten different heads =\ is that unheard of?

  • My sunflowers did the same thing this year. I've never had it happen before.

  • I planted beans with my corn, but the corn all fell down... I'll try your sunflower trick next year.

  • Sunflowers as a replacement for corn is smart.

Its also traditional in that the same native American cultures that developed corn developed sunflowers as well so I'm sure in the southwest where sunflowers are hardier than corn they would have made the same substitute.

    Thank Jack.

  • Thanks for sharing that set-up, I'll have to look at planting sunflowers and beans together next year after seeing how well it worked for you.
