Since I never played FFII (or its remakes) I never connected FF with this song even though I heard it the first time on compilation soundtrack. Its a beautiful song but reminds me of a something I would hear in grand cathedral like at a church. So in that respect, I'd imagine I hear this song when I die and go to "heaven"... lol Likewise, it reminds me of the greater side of humanity, our capacity and potential for good and prospects for the future despite all the crap thats in our world.
I don't know why this wonderful song just has 26,352 views and similar to other clips of it in youtube. Maybe when it appeared, the time of game music had not come, and Final Fatasy was not so popular.
the intro sounds like that of can you feel the love tonight. I guess there's no wonder, nobuo uematsu is a fan of elton john. nice fmv! this is one of my favorite songs in the album. ^^
I agree with you. I also think I'll use this song for mine one also. It's very great song and I still wonder Nobuo-San's talents. He's really amazing!!!
I thought I responded to this a long long time ago, but I guess it didn't go through. I happened to come across this vid again, and well, in case you STILL don't know, FF2 DOES indeed have fmv's that you could've used. You made this vid in 2006, during which FF Origins (where FF1 and FF2 had fmv's) was 3 years old. So yes, it was quite possible for you to have used them.
What are you talking about? Final Fantasies 1 and 2 are the most remade games of all time. Both have been remade for the Playstation, GBA, and PSP, and FF1 even has its own mobile phone remake. And that's not even counting the remakes that weren't made outside of Japan.
And, you really, REALLY should play the first five. The series wouldn'thave gotten to where it is today if it started with crap. I strongly recommend at least trying FF4.
FYI, I did try all of them, and did finished FF IV and V btw. I wouldn't say they're crap just because I feel like it. And they're just personal opinions, I'm not much of a hardcore player anyway.
@nothingespecial1 : The point was that the song was from FF2, but the vid didn't use any of the FMVs from it. At the time of these comments, however, the vid creator already explained his ignorance of the PS1 and PSP versions of the game, so that whole issue had already been resolved...........

@HandA711 NO, I mean this is not the "love will grow" original clip. The original has all the song with FF6 scene. Not Mix.

You used a song from Final Fantasy 2, but you didn't use any scenes from it?
Sephiroth7734 3 years ago
I believe the game did not have any decent FMV(or likely none at all) to put in a vid.
WandererXI 3 years ago
Its not from FF VI? XD;;
FreshPrinceLilRJ 3 years ago
No, read the info pal. It's from FF II

good point, I don't pay much attention to any other FF than VI and newer. I never thought that would remake FF I and II in the first place.

Second of all, you missed my point COMPLETELY.
