Thanx for the info, yeah I'm goin with a 2 inch steel hood too. I think goodmark makes them. I gotta save up first cuz I just bought a set of american racing outlaw 2 wheels which look really cool on it, and I just installed a B&M megashifter too.

Thanks, It's a 2 inch and it's made by Harwood. I had to do alot of shaving to make it fit ok, I'm going to change it to a 2 inch steel hood one of these days.

Thanks, this is my 2nd SS also, I had an 84 t-top SS and I had it completed except for choosing the color to paint it and it was stolen out of my driveway one night, never to be seen again. It took me 12 years to find another decent SS to start over. This car was a rolling shell that I bought on Craigslist for $1500 and I put about 15k into it, and doing all the work myself with the help of my son.
