  • I have a huge problem with this update, sadly. When I plug my headphones into my laptop, BOTH the headphones AND the laptop play the music/video audio simultaneously instead from my headphones. However, if I disable "Classic Mode," the headphones won't work anymore...

Can someone please help me with this please? >.<

    Thanks

  • @KiteTh I became aware that this driver doesn't work with all 9000s myself. I have bought a new motherboard for mine, and altho the chip reports being the same thing, it wanted different drivers. My modded one didn't work properly.

Eventually it found the right one by itself, on Windows Update. And here's the real kicker: The driver it got from Microsoft has mic boost built in! Although it's still not user configurable it's better than nothing. So try this and see what it does.

  • @uN1Qu3DZ So... Just check Windows Update then??

  • @KiteTh Yes. Open up Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game controllers, double click the Conexant sound card, go to the Driver tab, hit Update Driver and then Search Automatically. It worked for me.

  • Brilliant fix for this problem...you don't have a fix for an HP pavillion running XP with a conexant sound card? Thanks

  • @stratorarious unfortunately not. nor do i have the time to try and install XP on my own dv9000. sorry.

  • @uN1Qu3DZ no problem....thanks for your answer.

  • @stratorarious

did you fix your problem ?

  • Anche io ho bisogno del driver 32bit , ti do accesso tramite team viewer così lo fai sul mio noebook , fammi sapere ...!!!!

  • ai rezolvat cumva cu driverul ptr 32biti?

    mersi

  • I have an HP dv9000 Vista 32 bit. Do you have the modified driver for that? Thank you in advance

  • @greglaw00 i've given up on doing a 32-bit version since i have no time to install that on my laptop (and nowhere to backup the existing 64-bit install either).

you can always upgrade to 64-bit though. it's better anyway. :)

  • if you really want a 32-bit driver i can make you one, but i'm going to need access to your machine (by VNC or TeamViewer). if you agree with it, drop me a private message and we'll talk.

  • @uN1Qu3DZ The only problem is I was just looking into what driver I have and mine is a Venice. I don't think Hermosa will work will it?

    I have a HP Compaq Presario F572US

I've tried everything the microphone is so low when I run tests it says to increase the microphone volume but I can not increase it anymore without mic boost. On my friends computer though the mic works fine so it is not the microphone. Please let me know if this driver will work. Thank You

  • unfortunately it won't work with Venice... I can try to make it work if you're willing to help me.

  • Yes that would be great! What would you need me to do?

  • This is great! I have been trying to figure out a way to get my HP conexant driver to work for almost a year but couldn't do it. Where can I go to request a 32 bit driver I would be so thankful if I could get that driver!

  • go on your pc's own original website and and find link where says drivers, software
