  • Learning this :D I can't play it as fast as you can ;)

  • I learned to play this in my fifth year of piano :))) There's a mistake when you're playing this:

In the beginning of the LA SOL FA MI RE LA SOL FA MI RE first time before FA SOL LA SOL FA MI LA FA RE you play Forte and 2nd time you play Piano. And In the part MI RE MI1 RE DO LA SOL 1st time you play Forte and 2nd time you play Piano. Then on the end, when theme starts again you play 1st time Piano then Forte. Every other part is great! :)))) Keep on playing the piano

  • It is quite amazing how such an easy piece can be performed in such a way that it can seem to be quite difficult and an masterpice. Bravo !!!

  • Lol, the bird!

  • You are great!

  • I'm working on learning this piece right now! The last bit of it before it repetes itself is pretty difficult, but I'm getting there!

    :D

  • It's not written byJ S Bach, still beautiful and well played. It was in a booklet with excercises for his second wife (Anna Magdalena)

  • @MacBratt Yes it was written by JS Bach? He wrote it for his wife so of course it was him that wrote it?

  • nice job

  • wtf is up wit the duck? lol kinda fits tho

  • lol that bird is so hilarious

  • My 6 yr old is convinced that the mystery player to the left of the camera's view is a tutti-frutti ice cream cone.

  • Omg so much better than me!!!

  • Great performance, but those damn ducks keep ruining the visual experience. Why ducks? Why take pictures of those filthy things and ruin a perfectly good video? HOW DARE YOU SHOW DUCKS IN A VIDEO!!! NO MORE DUCKS!!!

    EXTERMINATE THE BRUTES!!!

  • nicely played!

  • wtf that bird scares me!

  • I played this on clarient for the festival a few days ago. It's so fuuuuuuun! :D Bravo! <3

  • the sound quality to this video is amazing

  • @teizle1 He explains on a web page somewhere how he records. This guy knows what he's doing.

  • Hey, Good playing. But, I have a little question. Around 0.38 you play a B instead of a D (last note of the 10th meter of the second part)... And when you repeat it you do this as well.. Is this a difference in sheetmusic or just a mistake?

You're an amazing player by the way :).

  • @Sichaye i noticed that too, its a D in my sheet music. i was wondering about that :)

  • Very nice sound! What i miss of all your videos is JS Bach´s friend:

    Johann Pachelbel Canon in D!!!!

Please find time to perform it for us.

    Greetings from Austria ;)

  • Very well played!!!! everytime i play this song i think of a hippo walking gingerly along . Its kinda like everytime an elephant in a cartoon starts walking and a trombone is played. lol

  • This is the best Musette in D major version I ever heard!

By the way the bird thing is so funny lol

  • I like this performance, but LOSE the ducks. Maybe the person who played this piece could re-post this video showing only his playing his keyboard; I enjoyed watching that. Thanks

  • this made me smile :D

  • I'm loving the bass it's giving me. :D

And the bird walking to the song = brilliance. Lol

  • This video is just as enjoyabe the second time as it was the first.

Any idea on what kind of bird that is?

  • @MellowCypriot It is a Bachbird, also known as a coot.

  • ...and so named because they walk perfectly in time to Bach's music, no doubt! Thanks for filling me in.

  • @cubusdk what keyboard is that it looks so cool

  • Roland 700GX

  • I had a smile on my face as the bird was walking in time to the music! Very creative and I look forward to watching many more...

  • Very nice. Best version i have seen on youtube. Would have been better if you hadn't added a video of a bird. lol.

  • oh, c'est chouette! je l'ai joué il y a un petit moment, mes enfants adoraient! très divertissant, comme quoi Bach n'était pas du tout...austère! j'aime beaucoup ton interprétation!

  • Bellissimo video. Molto divertente. Cute video

  • You are very talented

  • You're a godsend =)

  • How do you learn these songs sooooo faaaastttt!!!!

  • haha! Great break from what I have come to expect from you, Cubus - it looks like you had fun with this one. Love it!

And the weird thing too, you play so much stuff that I am in the process of learning or have the sheet ready to learn (the case with this one - lying on the floor waiting to be learned). It spooked me until I realized you just publish so much material that those paths are bound to cross.

And the ones you post that I'm not trying to learn usually get added to the list anyway! 5*

  • so sooo great :D nice job and keep up the wonderful playing :) you're truly amazing, please dont ever give this up :)

  • Wow cubus fantastic performance!! You really bring the music alive and make it fun. Cute video too. =))

  • ahah really cute video ! good job, gotta learn this one day :)

  • Wow, how weird. Never heard this Bach piece, and it sounds nice.
