He also said (included in the Last Dog and Pony Show cd) that he was DONE playing loud guitar rock ... Anyone remember that interview? Now he's 10 years older and doing it better then he was in 1998-9. Unfortunately, he can never recreate what was created in those sweaty ground-breaking evenings with Husker Du (without question, one of the most rule-breaking, in-your-face, sneering, clever, charming, yet SO UNLIKELY rock bands of the 20th century. Kudos to Bob for following his heart. God bless.

I think he said "never again" to a Huskers reunion. He has played a handful of Husker Du songs though during his last 2 tours. Some Sugar songs too.
