I made this video for a class project about differentiated instruction for my education course. Pat holds common misconceptions about differentiated instruction, and Karen explains what is considered better practice. It was not meant to be complaint or satire, just a presentation of research to my class!
I think you did a good job explaining what DI is. Good teachers use the strategies of DI and have been before there was a buzz word or definition for it.
I would bet my next paycheck these videos are created by a secondary teacher, most likely H.S., that does not support RTI, differentiated instruction, or inclusion. I wonder if their administrator has watched this??? Just saying.... It is sort of funny though. I see the complaining right through the satire. :-)
