  • Just bought one! $50 at this store locally here in San Diego. My "underneath part" the "driver" as you say has a screw-dial adjustment of some kind.

I played mine by hooking speaker wire to it and just playing it using the speaker output to my stereo. Seemed kind of low volume... thinking it wants more juice to sound correct...

I'll link you to some pics of mine by personal message...

If you're gonna post a video of your speakers, we wanna hear something coming out of it!

  • I despire open coils! :((

Really cool horn speaker there and neat display!

Saw it all from Tulsa ;)

    Thanks for sharing.

  • WoW Brian! Great idea! I will make crystal radio today and give it a try. I have a good antenna and ground leading into my bedroom LOL.

  • Great Horn Speaker Restoration Brian!!!! Would love to hear it working too!!! These horns show how a the horn actually increases the efficieny of a driver dramatically!!

Try plugging a crystal radio into one with a good antenna & you get tons of volume!! Paul W. Klipsch did the same with the HiFi Speaker in in 1937 with the X-1 the forrunner to the famed Klipschorn--- your pal, Brian B. Kerfoot
