The house used in the video clip is on South Franklin St. between South and W. Northampton Sts. Ironically, it was on fire a few years ago. The house had been redone since. I was called out for the fire in the middle of the night. Copy and paste then search
good ole truck 6. when wilkes-barre bought their alf ladder it was called ladder 1 but now it is back to being called truck 6. i loved all the hahn rigs w-b had. it was great to hear them driving with the detroit diesel from across the city.
@FutureFDNY2009 Yeah Hahn's from Pa.There were quitens a few Hahns here in Delaware too.All Detroit'd out. Some manual, some automatic. Most with jake brakes that made the mufflers do anything but muffle.
@DUSTY1373 With a one word comment, out of nowhere,"duh" is not reply you should be making.I didn't know if you mean't the show, the playback quality, the topic or what.
thank you for the wonderful video post. I remember this well, My father was a former driver of that hahn (old w-b engine 2) I believe he is the one entering on the back porch with the white tube socks on, he never did care for the black uniform socks and was constantly busted on for it!
that rig was replaced a few years ago it was given to the luzerne county community college fire training center now it is sitting at the college maintainence area waiting to go to the junkyard.
