@MrTonimontana30 what game do you play? game quality can be measured objectivly or by opinion, have you ever even played the game? objectivley, the game mechanics could use some more color (and I don't mean the way our brain recepts different signals from your eyes, that send different sifnals due to different ave lengths), and some more units could be added. but it does take a lot of intelect and frthought to play this game well.

@kaneswrath1000 All downloads of Defcon are full releases, you have to "Buy" an activation code from the company(IE: Buy the game) to remove the Demo user limits. But the entire game is packed in there when you download it

this game makes no fucking sense. what about anti missile defense system? nuclear weapons are just overrated, they aren't that good anymore. even before the nuclear warhead would arrive the island, the laser defense system would have already destroyed the warhead. this is the modern time. missiles can be defeated by anti missile laser, or at least ballistic anti missile. stupid game.

There is anti missile defense systems in the game, they're just not 100% efficient, because then the game would be no fun. Also don't forget that there is actually no laser defense system moron. I quite like the music actually, although I'm pretty sure you can turn it off if you want. this game is just so eerily beautiful. it's such a disturbing juxtaposition to see the end of the world happening before your very eyes all from a presumably safe distance while sad music plays in the background. DEFCON is a work of art!

easiest way is sub surprise. position your subs off their mainland an basically wait, while bombarding them with bombers. when they start to launch their nukes, get their silos with your subs. hey-presto no nuke defences. then simply give them every thing you've got. this works particularly well against the U.S.A. if you are europe/U.S.S.R

If you claim to be a genuine fan of Real Time Strategy and don't have DEFCON, you are a liar !

This is simply one of the best and most atmospheric RTS games, ever. There's no fluff, its cold harsh and detatched, and the music and background sounds of coughing and crying coupled with those little messages on how many million just died in one detonation, is a little disturbing... yet addictive... Then, there's multiplayer... And mods...

This game is a 9/10 game for real RTS fans.
