I have a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 that's obviously faster than this car but I would love to see Toyota do a turbo version of this from the factory. That would be pretty tight.
@AgileMJOLNIR i actually wanted a mazdaspeed for the turbo but it was like 5 grand more and they were out of the model before the latest model, the latest model to me looks a bit uglier, but the scions will most likely have a supercharger add on for like 3 grand or something like that

Nice car. How is the handling, rear seat and acceleration on the TC? I am planning on getting a new car soon and I am stuck in between the 2011 TC, 2011 Mustang v6, and the Altima coupe. I like that this car has a good amount of cargo since I am a college student and a musician so I will need to carry a keyboard with me at times. But I also like the power and rear wheel drive of the Mustang.
@raulgomez902 i mean if i could choose id probably choose the mustang purely because its american muscle, but i really like my tc, the handling is pretty good, and its heavier than the previous model, but the acceleration is pretty good, and the is really spacious you can definitely put a keyboard in there no problem
I drive a 2010 Scion tC and I think the 2011 looks nice. I like the front of the care but not the back. The interior looks a lot nicer then the older model. I really like how the manual gear box looks compare to what I have. Mine is like a rectangular gear box and I hate it. I wish the old model have the same gear box as the newer one.
Very helpful video. I should be signing the papers this week. A small concern I had was with the hard plastic centre console armrest. In your video at 4:11 it looks like you have a proper padded armrest with stitching. Was this something you purchased later or did that come with your car?? I would definitely buy that if I can find out where I can get it.
@j22downey yeah it came with the car, everything you saw in the vid came with the car, i just basically chose the color and if i wanted push start or key igition, everything else came with the car
@kaizen18 Hmm. Thanks for letting me know. That is odd though. They must have a bit different trim in my region than yours I guess. It definitely does not have the padded armrest here and it also does not have a rear wiper. It definitely should at least have the padded armrest though.
I took one for a test drive today. I like it but has a couple things I'm not too crazy about. Because of the dual sunroofs, the retractable sunshades are some kind of vinyl roll up shade things instead of the usual hard panels. I found it to have a bit of a loud exhaust note on the highway as well.
I love the way it handles and has plenty of power for everyday use. Very comfortable seats with lots of rear seat room too. I like the looks of it. Those who don't? Well to each their own.
Hey buddy, thanks for making this. I didn't realize just how big the back seat was. It looks like your version of the tC comes with more than the one sold in the US. We don't get the rear wiper, the backup sensors, or the keyless ignition.
Hey I was just wondering with the push button start, what your key fob was like? Can you also unlock/enter the vehicle without using the fob. I.e. is it a proximity entry that you just have to have the key fob in range of the vehicle to enter it?
@chardmendoza well i was offered either the manual key or push start, i chose the push start, not sure how much a big difference it was, but overall it costed me like 22g i know its like 18-20g and change in the states, but the cost to ship it where i am added to the total cost
