With the N8 you launched an app and closed it, with that android device you just had web browser on what you just showed and hided, you launched the web browser only one time but you already had connection on and you never even closed the web browser or launched it again, you just hided it and showed it. Also Symbian device had effects on and Android device had effects off.

The confront is errate, because you CLOSE the S^3 web browser, but you remane OPENED the Android web browser.
So the N8 have to open the browser all the time, the Galaxy S not because it is open yet.
Try to open the S^3 browser and press the menu button. The browser go on background like the Galaxy S. And try to re-open it :-)
