@business... your way off kid! I've studied and researched the Columbine Massacre and Dylan and Eric were not bullied anymore than your average kids talking crap to one another. To call these two kids heroes is sickening, and unless your a sick bastard I would suggest that you stop! Dont try to argue back with me whether or not they were bullied, its pointless. When I say I've researched, I mean hundreds of hours with an unbiased opinion. Now I know the truth, and so do you
@ca66tuna they don't deserve that insult, man. they were normal boys like me who had a tough life that forced them to do this. if anything, they're heroes.
@business555 To be honest, after I watched that movie (& after my first comment) I wanted to know more about these guys and I watched 5 different documentaries afterwards about this event and these guys. After knowing everything, I don't know how to feel about these guys anymore. I think I feel more like pity and sympathy now. Wish things had gone way better for these guys.
@ca66tuna yeah, because think about it, these boys were bullied and tormented everyday of their lives and they bottled up so much inside for the longest time and finally snapped. the kids they killed deserved at least that. eric and dylan only knew torment in their young lives only to die and burn in hell? they don't deserve that not one bit.
I'm quite glad I watched Zero Day last night; otherwise I wouldn't have come across such a great song. It worked perfectly in the end credits. Excellent film for its subject matter, maybe one of my favorites. The whole personality of the teens really comes out....too bad real life shooters aren't as nice as these two were.
After watching the film Zero Day, this song seems very foreboding and ominous.. I love it! This song is performed extremely well, and it perfectly gives every listener a different experience. Also, Zero Day is better than Elephant by miles. Elephant just seemed lazy, not having the main characters come in until halfway through the film. Zero Day really let you relate to the teenagers, seeing what made them tick.
I haven't seen a video of this song with the lyrics, but I put them on the information box below the video myself. No idea about the chords, but have you already tried to search from the internet..? Might be something there.
I agree, Zero Day was way better than Elephant, or in fact better than any other movie made of the same subject.
Was there a Youtube video of this song that also had the lyrics on it??
Also what are the chords?--Seems like mostly E-minor and D and then a G sometime. How about a TAB or a Youtube guitar lesson on how to play this song? I tried it at Open Mike a few months ago and somebody said it sounded like a Daniel Johnson song.
This is a really great song, and really under-rated. It deserves to better-known! Also the movie it is in--"ZERO DAY." I think I discovered this movie--and this song--from a very short review in Rollign Stone years ago. Then our local public library got the DVD and I watched it--whew! Better in some ways than "Elephant"--another film about the Columbine shootings. The librtary here has long-since lost the "Zero Day" DVD.
Thanks for the upload. Where did you download this version of the song? The one on the Benji Cossa and the Tightens album is more uptempo and happy sounding.
Really? Then I've never even heard that version... This is the same version that's played during the end credits of the film called Zero Day. And I actually like this one a lot.
fine... what do you want me to say, i mean, i love them, they're my heroes. they were good men. i'll give em that. hahahahahaha.

My heart was literally melting during the credits as they showed the slideshow. I wasn't crying, but my chest felt like a volcano.

Great song but reminds me of those two motherfuckers due to the end credit of Zero day. Fuck you Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. Burn in hell!!
