  • @spe315effect

i definately recommend the original Homebox.

  • @spe315effect

The Homebox is definately made without PVC and comes with a 2 years warranty. The company is in the market for 10 years and invented the portable growboxes.

  • Where can I buy it ? Ships to another country ?

  • @Marcelolalas1111

You can check the distributor page of homebox.net. If you don´t find a shop near to you contact the Homebox team. they will help you.

  • love how they use a woman in the video.... just 2 make sure we KNOW its easy :P

  • i could make that shit for 1/2 cost or less.... and itd prob be more durable bigger and better..... its not hard to go to home depot and buy some 1 inch PVC piping and then some fabric and mylar and sew it all together lol

  • @GuerilliaFarmer

for sure you can build your own if you are a handyman. Not everybody is. Homebox is made from food-grade materials not just PVC. Also you have to consider how much time you might spend in going to home depot and sewing everything together. but please send us some pictures of your self-construction.

  • @GuerilliaFarmer Personnaly i would get a 20x20 foot shed in the backgarden.. thats just me and you thinking for ourselves mate ;)

  • id tap that

  • Genious! How much did this cost you? =)

  • Muy bueno.

  • Olalalahhh!!..elle est mignone le petite!!! :D

  • wow thats alot of work

  • do i get FREE babe when i'm ordering??

  • could you just stick two 400 watts to grow 4 plants if you had the homebox by a window and had a fan somewhere and open the homebox windows would that be suffecient airflow ?

  • @hawthornclose i dont think so. does not sound like sufficient air flow. and 2 x400W lights will generate a lot of heat.

  • dont the "white pvc lined" tents give off toxic gases, which end up killing the plants inside?

  • @oasis11991 : yes! BUT we never used PVC in our white lined boxes, only the cheap copy boxes do. you can read about that on our homepage as well. sadly many people still think like you. but there are huge differences in quality between our boxes and all the copies.

  • I have a Hydrofarm 1000w switchable. Will a grow tent get too hot?

  • yes probably, 1000w gets really hot isnt that great for confined spaces

  • you have to pull air in from outside and also duct the hot air from the lamp out of the tent, my temps 73 (air on) 79 (air off) it comes on for 15 min then off for 15 min, oh and i also have a 600 in there too.

  • so in other words yes it will be fine

  • You could use a Cooltube. Would be hot in Summer and Warm in Winter. But I think it would work.

  • i run a 2x 600w not cool tubes in mine with 2x 150m fan and it keeps temps stable and perfect

  • is 600W HPS too much for the Homebox L? cuz I'm about to upgrade my 400W for a 600W

  • nope, 600W are not too much. but you might need to increase your ventilation (intake, outtake) and/or install a light cooling device. this depends on your climate factors liek room temps, temps of the intake air, etc.

  • @OriginalHomebox Thanks alot for the quick answer ;) Keep up the good work guys y'all rock

  • Very sweet, and the home box looked cool also.

  • U B Stylin' & we B Smile'n

  • so its basically a kiddies tent converted into a sweet ass growbox... why didn't i think of that :P

  • fuckin sweet

  • c le top on i recrée un climat idéal

  • shes got such a pretty face. why arent british girls like this damn.

  • incest?

...haha, just kidding. have seen a picture of eugenie in yellow press today. damn - shes pretty!

  • @acidrain55 It may be because you live up north...i know northerners are normally fat rotters.

Down here in essex there are far prettier girls :p

  • @lovinit19791 lol I live in cambridgeshire its not really north but i wouldnt mind a essex girl init :)

  • hps 400W have 58.000Lumen it`s be ok for your 1M x 1M box ;-) for this box you need 50.000 Lumen

  • lumen measurs the visible light for HUMAN,NOT for PLANTS...u have to take the amount of PAR(Photosynthetically Active Radiation) if u are interessted in growing plants

  • Looks like it would also work very well as an auxiliary indoor closet. Does it come with crossbars for the hangers?

  • i have 3 comments-

    a) what would you ever want to use that for? a growing unit? what is that? how are you ever going to get anythng to grow in that thing without sunlight? Just put your plants on a table or something

    b) that looks like it took ages to set up, and is very complicated

    c) have fun trying to take it apart

  • ever hear of edison? you can use electric current to produce light

  • lol somebody need to introduce you to the the 21st century

  • uh oh i just love this girl and music as well. HD content pls ...

  • Now fold it up and put it away... See not so easy anymore is it? For some reason they won't provide instructions to fold it to pack away when you need the space or moving.

  • jeees. how come you think it is so hard dismantling it? I must doubt your ability to even do the smallest trasfer-thinking. sorry to say.

just follow the steps in reverse order, and the box is dismatled in no time. with no stress. and due to the fact that we use the strong push-lock nylon connectors, they also dont get rusted together like full metal joints.

we find it so child-easy to understand how to dismantle, that we did not waist your and out time to show it.

  • NOT dismantle, fold it up into a small space! Read the text carefully before you start calling people idiots jerk. I know it's easy to take apart I own one. Also I figured out how to properly fold it as it was packaged on my own thank you very much.

  • It's as easy as setting up and dismantling a tent. Unless you're the tard on the camping trip that doesn't know how to do that then you can do the same with this.

  • that's me , I just throw the fly sheet over my car at festivals , works great , aircon ,heat ... and you can change location easily !!

  • use your brain and follow the instructions in reverse order.

  • If you wanna save on electricity and get almost the same results as HPS Then go with LED lighting it uses the color more than anything to make the plants grow.. which in return is less heat and it doesn't run up your electricity bill

  • Have you ever tried it? There's a reason why people don't use LEDs.

1- cost (they are much too expensive)

2- spectrum (they do not produce the full spectrum that is claimed)

3- light penetration (the light they give off is not created by plasma, therefore does not penetrate in the same way)

It is impossible to get the quality with LED that you would get from HPS or flouro. You can match the yield watt per watt, but quality is poor and it takes longer.

  • I use flouro and it works great. Ive no clue how well LED would work. In my opinion it would really be how you preferred to grow.

  • Is this tent material fire proof, if not, how easy is it to catch fire?

  • hey its so ez a girl can do it??/?

  • Schickt die Dame mal bei mirvorbei, dann kann sie meine Homebox auch auf bauen......sie ist ja auch wirklich nett an zu sehen dabei *G*

  • does this tent make your electricity bill high

  • do your math yourself.

the HB L is well equipped with a 400W HPS lamp. you will need another approx 100W maximum for ventialtion and misc. the Lamp will run for 12-18hrs/day.

  • HI,I got one question. What`s difference betwen HOMEBOX ,and HOMEBOX LIGHT,LIGHT is cheaper, any other differences?

  • LIght is made of much thinner material, is also having less improved features. Main difference is that the Light is only light tight until about 60W. So it will protect the photoperiod of the plants in most setups, but a strong HPS lamp will glow through it.

  • i hope my answer is not misleading. the HB L is not delivered with a 400W lamp. But the 400W HPS is a good light system to use in it.

I cant tell you on how much it will raise your bill, for the prices of electricity vary so much.

  • Already use the Homebox XXL and the Clonebox right now, but since XXL is the biggest one I recently purchased a Secret Jardin DR 300 to exchange it with.

However these dudes know how to construct easy setup growrooms for sure.

The customer service is exquisite as well.

I have had plenty of use for these tents and they have proven to be very good.

I will never exchange my Clonebox though, excellent for a double rig of rainforests, best cloning tent on the market.

  • thx for answering. Ok lets say you have one 600w lamp(is that enough btw or you need more?) al the nutrition you need and you use a strain called "the shit" its supposed to give the biggest harvest pr sqi. i just need a aproximate figure to help me deside wich sise i should go for. i mena it wouldnt be any fun if you spend 12 weeks with this baby and end up with only 100 grams wouldnt you agree?

  • well, if you keep your plants (however you wanna call them) happy and take care of them properly, you can harvest for example about 1gram/1Watt of dried herbs (fast growing plants) per harvest season. I would suggest to use a 400W in the HB L, 600 only with light-cooling device.

  • HB L is 100x100x200cm. The amount of harvest depends on so many factors, starting with: what fruit/herbs/vegetables do you want to produce? what light are you using? how good are you? I daresay nothing about this, makes no sense. The only possible answer is: as much as you would get in any other closet. The Homebox is just a perfectly designed Home for your grow setup. It makes it easy for you to have your grow nearly everywhere. It comes with all you need to do the best job you are capable of..

  • Where is the entrance for the air intake & out? Can we use 4 - 6 - or 1000 watts without melting the plastic walls? So far this looks like a harvesting room. How do you consider this as a grow room? Please provide more info.

  • entrance for outtake is on top, for intake on bottom. you can install any standard ventilation and light equipment. the HB L should be OK for up to 600W (if used with light cooling device), we do not suggest a 1000W in it. not enough space.

  • how much finished(dryed)product is realistic to expect to harvest from the homebox L 120x120x2 m in one cycle (8-12 weeks)? my friend who is allready a experienced grower says these boxes are bs because you cant really let the plants flower to their full potential in them? please i need to know. thx.

p.s. sorry for bad english :)

  • the L is 100x100.

Whatever your friend says, I dont know how he comes to that conclusion. What should hinder the plant to flower/fruit/blossom to its full potential in a Homebox?

Plants need light, air, water and nutrients. These factors and the right application of all these factors, are crucial in order for the plants to live up to their full potential. The Homebox is just the "home", in which it all happens. Unless you grow plants that are growing higher than the box, I see no problem... :)

  • my local headshop has one of these its pretty cool. id like to make my own growroom from scratch but if i had the money to spare id consider buying one of these

make it smellproof and youv got a deal!

  • :)

install a carbon filter and a constantly running extractor fan, and you have it smellproof.

  • How do you attach a carbon filter to cloth walls??

  • check out our video: HOMEbox Modular Filter and Ventilation Installation

  • how many plants can u fit in the large verision?

  • 9 pots (11.8") easily or more if you grow your green on smaller pots

  • what size ducting do you use on the homebox L intake and exhaust ports

  • Inlets and Outlets:

    roof:ø 160mm

    back top:ø 90mm

    bottom right:ø 130mm

  • in inches what size ducting fit the the exhaust and air intake holes?

  • very cool indeed i would make an investment in one. i heard they are good grow tents.

  • Hello, where i can look video about S box?

And how much s box? Because in one shop 210 euros in another 140...

  • the S box is very similar to the XS box, so check out this video. just slightly different size.

We have no influence on the prices done throughout the world, we give some guidelines, but the free market rules hinder us from setting clear prices. so you just have to check for the best deal...

  • hey i just got a home box S i was wondering if you could tell me where to get the fans for it input and output and such thanks alot.

  • well, you can get the additional equipment at every hydrostore... there are so many out there. if you google for hydroponic equipment, i guess you will also find many online shops.

  • Is it completely airtight? I would like to do a sealed grow room.

  • no, it is not completely airtight. you need to install an extractor fan, that blows air out of the Homebox all time. then you create a negative pressure, so that only through the extractor, air can escape. if odours are a problem, attach a carbon filter to the extractor...

  • Wonder if it is sturdy enough? I can just imagine myself stumbling and demolishing that

  • yes, it definitelly is sturdy enough. we did pull ups in it. we weight 150 pounds...

  • I like the model more than the box.

  • damn that was hell for me ; like 45 min

  • Facil, rapido, sencillo y para toda la familia. Habra ke montar uno de estos (para la ropita). Up The Irons!!!

  • Nice niceee whats the name of the song

  • nice video. :-)

  • Yeah it looks pretty cool.

I liked the video but you guys should really have put a price somewhere visible.

I couldn't find it on your site either.

    Please change this!

People leave when they don't get all the info!

  • Agreed...

  • it costs 157.50, go to google type in '' growshop.wietforum'' go there and click on ''Kweek Tenten'' which is left in the menu
