There's a big difference between hunting for survival and hunting for recreation regardless of weather you use it's body or not. Yes, I'm a vegetarian, though on extremely rare occasions, I will eat meat or something made from it (normally stuff like chicken soup when I'm sick and always at someone else's insistence). Animals tha kill for food or survial instinctively know to go for biting the jugular vein in the neck. They can smell the blood there since that vein is one of the largest which carries blood to the heart and brain. The instant they bite it...the animal dies very quckly. Last year, my son-in-law and his buddies went hunting....deep in the mtns, in Canada and near the American border.

They caught some hunters torturing deer and a fawn...and laughing. They tortured the hunters....they skinned them alive slowly and left them alive hanging from a tree to die slowly...

They came back and only told the story to their families. Eventually the world spead around their towns......Now every year, more and more ppl are joining them on their secret mission during season.

Nothing wrong with that. I do that too. We all go camping, hiking, photo-shooting. We take cameras. It is amazing and peaceful... until we see a hunter torturing his prey. We have seen the most horrendous acts. I once saw a hunter leave the bow in the deers face...as the deer ran off to die slowly...he laughed to his friend about it.

The problem with children such as this is that they are trained by the very serial killers we are talking about. Children learn what they live. To a smaller child of 3 or 4, parents are like God...they feed them, clothe them, protect them, keep them warm...so when a parent teaches a child wrong....that child believes it. @celt130 Here is a nice tidbit that I like to give all these anti hunters. Hunting was banned where I lived, not state wide but county wide. Since then the deer population grew so huge that they started coming into our towns getting killed and causing car accidents left and right. Not to long ago a deer with rabies attacked and killed a 8 year old kid. The solution? They unbanned hunting and even went out and slaughtered hundreds of deer. They tried the anti hunter way, it didn't work.

I have a question. How many people here have removed a dear leg for processing? Where do you cut? Just below the knee joint. that is the only way it can be removed with a knife. the entire joint is still entact on this leg. It's ripped apart above the joint. Believe it or not, as a responsible hunter, I Agree with you. If this was left as a harrasment i hope you catch them and they are never allowed to hunt again EVER. Manditory hunter education actually condemns this kind of thing. You should respect the owners rights and views. If they say "no" it means no. I hope someones dog found it and brought it there. but thats only hope.
