As I said in your previous vid, stock for stock, it's a dead-even race against these two. Race an SRT boasting the same mods you are and post up, if you have the sack for it.
i own an 09 ss turbo, and i was racing a 05 neon srt-4 stage 2. we did a 40 mph roll i pulled from him about 3 car lengths after i no lift shifted into 3rd, but i give the neon credit its fast.. when we race around he takes off then i get on it and i slowly gain on him but nothing significant..
also sickG6 is right the SS gears are way taller i noticed that too, also raced an s2000 and a well modded grand prix gtp 2nd gear on the ss is nuts
LOL! the SRT driver hit his brakes and changed lanes. I hate videos of morons thinking they won because the other car slows down to avoid a collision. I have never seen a "KILL" video of a turbo Cobalt winning on a drag strip vs any stage SRT-4.
Yea that is a turbo swap on a supercharged body. The turbo ss has the center of the rear seats colored, not the seat itself. And the engine is way diff, not the same just swapping, it's no direct injection, but not a bad video, way to stick it to the SRT drivers, lol.

BTW boblikes, he didn't hit his brakes. He shifted. Cobalt SS gears are WAY taller than SRT-4 gears, so the Cobalt was able to stay in boost longer.

KINGSRT4- 2008 and up are turbo, and you can retrofit the previous models with turbo.
