  • nice review. hey dont worry about those guys. i drop my mags in the dirt, mud, on rocks, where ever they land. not even going to worry about it if im practicing my defensive shooting. hey, if i ruin one, ill buy more. ive only busted one mag in all these years and that was a mag i got second hand with one of those bumpers on the floor plate. hit the eject button on the 1911. the mag landed on concrete and the bumpers broke off. it was junk. P30 sure looks like a sweet pistol. i like my p99 alot

  • awesome review thanks

  • the song in this video reminds me of Bonnie Tyler's "I need a hero" song.

I love the feel of the P30. I've got a Walther P99 and am wanting another 9mm. It's a toss up between the PPQ or the P30. The grip really turns me on.

  • wat cal is this?

  • @damarijohnson watch the video.

  • @theshawner, you would made the biggest mistake if you had chosen the Glock 19 over this because I do own the Glock 19 GEN 4 and regret it every day of my life. Im buying the HK P30 in 40 cal in 2 weeks and I just cant wait and Im not worried about the price either because my life is worth more than $900; I want the most reliable firearm to protect my life and family. Great choice Sir

  • O.O you dumping your mags in dirt. you rich?!

  • @P4RT9 my thoughts exactly, wtf, just dropping them in that sandy ass dirt so he can try and look cool in the "action" shots

  • @maxxxxsnake It's no big deal. The magazines can be taken apart and cleaned. I wouldn't do this with your airsoft magazines though.

  • Just picked one of these up myself, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet due to weather, but I am loving it all the same because of the ergonomic grip.

  • I would love to have one but only for show and range time. The mag release is not friendly for speed reloads IMO. I don't want my index finger anywhere but along the frame when not firing. A slide catch is not to be used when reloading IMO, always power stroke the gun from the slide. When wearing gloves or wet or cold hands, fumbling for a slide release may cost you your life. Decent review, nice weapon. Looks like what Batman would carry if he wasn't an anti 2A puss.

  • Why does he look like hes about to cry?

  • Love the South Park Montage song

  • I also was looking at a glock 19. BUT... I'm a lefty. That makes a glock very uncomfortable to use, especially using my index for the slide release. While this gun is several hundred dollars more, It feels better and all around operates more smoothly (i'm not even talking about shooting). It wins hand down and I believe it is worth waiting until you can spend the extra 3-400 dollars on it. Great review. It feels (and looks) better in every way than a glock.

  • one comment... GUNNNNN! o.o

  • I have a HK USP which shoots and functions great after 12 years. But looks like this would be an upgrade in the grip, being able to customize the fit your hand. Mine, as all pistols back then were 1 size fits all in polymer. I like the streamlined look of this gun too.

  • Walther PPQ smokes this gun.

  • Nice video but the music selection sucks monkeys balls...

  • Great review! I am comparing this one and the Walther p99, thanks!

  • Nice review, awesome gun !

  • Great review, well done!

  • i love HK

  • Great job...really exceptional video. I've had many HKs, like them all.. but my HK45c fits the best in my hand as well as the P30 that i now have on layaway.. can't wait to own it and take it out shooting.

  • im geting the airsoft p30

    it looks just like this,

  • sooo badass. i always did love these

  • I've bought my p30 2hours ago and now i'm a little nervous with this gun on my table :-)))

  • Even Rocky Had a Montaaaaaagggggeeeeee!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The red things you see in the mag are what you call a snap cap. Its not an actual round rather than a training tool used in fire arm handeling safety.

  • Great review! I have been between the p30 and the sig 229. I think this is the one for me.

  • he looks likes hes scared of the gun the whole time lol

  • thumbs up for the song choice alone lololol

  • IMHO Best HK Production Pistol (Right Now) Is the HK45C, I've put about 1k rounds thru mine and not one problem/malfunction (as expected from my beloved HK) I personally don't need that many 9mm rounds, I'll take my 10 mags 5-8Rounders and 5-10Rounders .45 mags BUT If I had/was in the market to buy a 9mm i would pick up the P30!

    -The4G63Life Gives This a Thumbs Up (But Man-Up a bit while shooting ;) )

  • are they gonna make some 18rnd mag's for the p30 soon?

  • the song is ridiculous

  • what kind of round is the red one?

  • @mauriciogonzalez27 its a dummy round.

  • If I change the sights to tritium aftermarket is there any brand u wuld suggest and will they be easy to adjust for sightng in the target?

  • Homosexual music.

  • Fantastic review on a pistol soon to be mine. One friendly beef, your friend looks like Luke Skywalker after being told Vader is his father when he's popping rounds. sorry to be a jerk. love the video

  • Oh mama I'm in Love

  • but dude he's got heather!

  • nice gun darsh!

  • Watching the shooter at the begining I was thinking, "That's a nice airsoft grip and trigger control", but your review was really good. Did not bore the crap out of me, or superimpose some half wit tacticool badassery. I have a P30 in .40cal and feed it extreme shock. I've carried a P99(9mm) and a USP(.40cal) full frame and this is the best of both worlds. You sir have a fine firearm.

  • nice DVDA!!!!

  • By far... the most thorough review of this weapon. I was afraid that you were going to babble on for 7 minutes and give 2 minutes of actual information. Most reviews I've been looking at are 7-25 minutes of rambling. Because of your vid, I'll make my purchase. Good Job

  • LOL UR SONG is hilarious, lovely p30 you have there

  • I shot this gun, overall, I liked it. But the trigger sucks, the mag release sucks, and when you add the 1k price tag...no way in hell I would buy one, way over-priced..

for half the price you could get a Smith and Wesson M&P which is better at only half the cost (assuming you're into polymer guns.

hell you can get a quality 1911 for considerably less. But then again, I am not a n HK cheerleader and I don't have a bias (preference..yes, bias...no)

  • @friedstuffable They're NOT Fiber Optics. They're Tritium/fiber Optics (TFO). TruGlo TFO. And they're completely legal here.

  • @WarIsNeverPretty Tritium sights are illegal in Germany. Sad and stupid, but true.

  • @TutMirNichts I'm from Lithuania. And they're legal here.

  • @WarIsNeverPretty Lithuania isn't Germany. At least not yet. ;-)

Seriously tho, in Germany tritium devices with a combined radioactivity over 1 GBq are ilegal for civilian use. It has nothing to do with the EU, it is Germany solely. And it might not be that stupid, but this is another question.

  • @hstf That's weird... I don't see how could a tiny amount of tritium hurt anyone. Probably the only positive thing about this country is that we have great gun rights. Unlike most of the rest of Europe. :) But you would never wanna move here. The economy is almost at the end of the tail of EU. :(

  • @WarIsNeverPretty There are studies showing tritium MIGHT be more dangerous for humans than it is believed today. But I lack the professional knowledge to judge the credability of those studies. Just wanted to mention it. It is indeed strange that it is only ilegal in Germany. But it is what it is. Our gun laws are indeed among the most restrictive within the EU. Though it is possible to own a nice arsenal, it is very time and money consuming. And you have to face a lot of restrictions.

  • @WarIsNeverPretty I know, but since HKs are made in Germany, they can't have tritium night sights right from the factory.

  • So nice to see someone cool who isn't a fat slob shooting an awesome gun! Nice video.

  • he was looking too scared when he fired the gun. Might want to keep ur eyes open and on you POI

  • this is a lot of ammo!

  • Tritium illegal in Europe?? WTF? I got TruGlo TFO's on my Glock 17 and I live in Europe.

  • Great review of compliments. Great weapon, however, I much prefer the Glock

  • scared to shoot much?

  • You picked the best possible music for the beginning of this video. Nice work.

  • I have owned a HK p30s for about 6 months, and it is my carry pistol. It is the best gun I have ever shot and owned (own 9 guns total). I recommend this gun to anyone that is looking for a very concealable reliable weapon. Very little kick back, very good accuracy, and reliability is the best of all my guns. I've shot about 2,000 rounds now and I have had 2 malfunctions. Ironically they were both in the first 15 rounds that I fired. Either it was a quick break in or bad ammo. Either way A++.

  • why pete because you know that i am freakin right? yeah, i am right by all means, you talk too much shit and know nothing, or maybe just know a bit,, you dont realize why things are great, your mouth is so dirty, go to church and pray, pray laso that your HK and 1911 will be as graet as a Glock.

  • 91.322 rounds... 15 times cleaned?

    what a pig

  • theshawner has a lot to learn about shooting a pistol.

  • excellent review keep up the good work!

  • Hey buddy, ive watched a lot of gun reviews on youtube and yours had by far been the most informative and to the point. Loved the video. I was checking out aP30 these other day and I'm probably gonna get it now

  • the slide release 'feature'.... are you kidding me? Lol. You slam any mag into most guns properly and the slide will release from the force alone. Omg....

  • you shoot like your terrified. wow. im in shock you recorded this video, edited it, and still posted.

  • your trigger reset is absolutely comical.

  • I've been in love with H K's for a while. They're just a cut above.

  • Thanks for taking the time to produce a very good instructional video. As a first time H&K - P30S owner it was really helpful.

  • @Smylie555 needs a bowel movement really bad. What a dork!

  • nice vid...btw you just cost me about 900 bucks because i have to have one now a p30L anyway. one noticable difference over the years with hk pistols is the recoil spring has got that red coating these last few years because my 2 ollllld ones do not. they do shoot like a dream and provide peace of mind i wouldnt trust my life to any other brand...go german engineering.

  • did you hit the slide release or does it close if you hit the mag hard enough

  • the best part was the music

  • Great review. I was thinking about buying an XDM 9mm. do you think this one is worth $300 more? How much did you pay for it? Di you try the L version?

    THX

  • @sheeco10 i've shot the p30 and I've shot a S&W M&P, I would take the M&P over this pistol, just as ergonomic, just as nice, but it had a much better trigger and personally I prefer push button mag release over the HK lever.

and lastly the M&P is probably several hundred dollars less

  • Awesome review... your making me want to go get this gun.

  • i just cant stand the reset on these things..makes me want to opt of a ppq

  • That's called a MONTAGE!!!!

  • great review you sound like you know what you are talking about so whats the difference from the p30L

  • Screw tritium sights I want PLUTONIUM SITES!!

  • At 0.48 and at 0.54 there were failures to go into battery. I was just wondering if there was a specific problem with the firearm or if it has been fixed.

  • A little correction, tritium sights are not illegal in Europe, only in Germany. Really nice vid. I enjoyed using 9 minutes of my time watching this

  • Great review, very knowledgable. It helped me to decide on what to buy.

  • i want this gun sooo bad right now

  • Nice review of this pistol, thanks.

  • man that is nice.. Im considering getting the sig p250 but you just changed my mind.. will have to look at more reviews on this HK I'm loving it so far.. thanks for the post...

  • I'm sure you've already gotten a lot of criticism for your shooting technique so I wont say anything about that, lol but How do you like the P30 now that you've had it for a while?

  • I won't miss that long mushy and creeping trigger! I loved the feel of the gun, no doubt, magazines were nice, though the release mechanism didn't feel natural. The trigger just ruined it for me - ultimately I couldn't get any precise trigger control. Talk about a comfortable carry gun though - it ruled on that. HK needs to improve the V3, or maybe make a SA only.

  • Even H&K had a montage

  • It's not south park music it's team America

  • lol with the south park music

  • I LOVE THE ART OF MONTAGE. YOU HAVE IT DOWN TO A FINE ART. LONG LIVE THE MONTAGE.

  • The .40S&W version is my favorite all round handgun, but the DA/SA trigger is less than perfect, and per the user manual, the 9mm is not rated for +P or +P+ ammunition, and that is a big problem, for me at least.

  • Excellent review.

  • Good review. I'm planning on buying another pistol soon and you helped me make up my mind. I'll be picking one of these up in .40 cal. Thanks.

  • @bbmsjan Hope you can post something after you get yours, I am looking at one too...this review was excellent and I'm wanting it on .40

  • MONTAGE!!!!!!!!......damn now I want one, I'll have to try and shoot one at mt local indoor range. I like the idea of increasing/decreasing the grip width. I did own a PPS and the mag release did feel awkward, but I did like that I did not need to change my grip to get to it. Also the feature of the slide releasing on a full mag is really interesting too.

  • now this is a good gun review with the shooting first than the review excellent

  • You neglected to mention the fact that it's available in .40S&W as well.

  • Nice video... Send me your brass. pls

  • @Smylle555 in a real gunfight, you will not be concerned with the number of rounds, only with whether or not you stopped the threat. You, should shut the fuck up and stop giving stupid advise.

  • Comment removed

  • @Smylle555 When motherfuckers begin statements with, "actually, I know what I'm talking about," they don't. You are talking about tactics. Your "tactic" fucking sucks. Two people agreeing with you, is just three more fucking retards that don't know shit.

  • Comment removed

  • @Smylle555 The difference between you and me is that I rely on training rather than youtube videos or internet folklore. The guys I train with also think your tactic is unsound. Ask yourself, could you be wrong, sir?

  • Comment removed

  • @Smylle555 No, thanks.

  • @NerdHerderer what advise did he give?

  • @TheBassGuitarist1 The kind that gets you killed. He removed his comments, so he must not have had too much faith his advice. He was a stickler for grammar too.

  • @NerdHerderer oh boy all it takes is one person to make the whole gun community look bad

  • @NerdHerderer Take this down please.

  • @NerdHerderer this comment. We had a disagreement. Take this down.

  • Awesome H&K review you know you shit man!!

  • This is version...??? of the P30? Please answer.

  • @ShadowTempest42 Umarex H&K P30 Electric Blow Back Airsoft Pistol

  • @shockstardom This isn't a airsoft pistol, it's firing live ammunition. And I was pertaining to P30's having different versions such as: P30V1, P30V2, and so forth

  • I was waiting for the cameraman to pan around in front of him.

  • Excellent video and your review skills are exceptional. I have owned the HK45 for years and due to this video, I am going to own the HK P30 in .40s&w. Thanks

  • thx for that vid.

    Dankeschön aus Deutschland ;)

  • We have the .40s&w version of the p30 and we have put all of 50 rounds through it. I love the gun, just hate the caliber, i convinced my mom to trade it in for the 9mm version. Whenever i hold it i feel like im in the Swiss Guard or Secret Service lol.

    I only like long-living calibers 9mm, 45acp, .357magnum.

  • nice gun

  • ooooooooh, me and 2 of my buddies went shooting today, i brought my glock 17 and my buds brought there judge and P30. i must say i love the way this pistol fits in my hand, and the mag release took a little time to get used to compared to my glock, but damn that was a SWEET little shooter, i love the sights as well. the recoil felt a little lighter than my glock, you know why this could be?

  • @kingofthe40oz the gun has a recoil dampening system; as does the USP, HK45, and I think P2000.

  • Would you say this gun is better than the Cougar 8040?

  • Isnt that song from Southpark?

  • 9:00 Tritium is completely legal in Europe, bro. I might be missing something, but I don´t think I am. I live in the Czech Republic (right next to Germany, European Union member as well) and I do have tritium sights on my Glock. And I´m not a LEO. It is definitely legal in Europe. It may not be legal to export though..

  • @cimvictimlip its illegal in Germany. Go law makers go!

  • @KiwiStalk Are they? And I was so sure I was right. LOL. Thanks for info.

  • dude, you have small hands right?

im interested to buy this model but my hands are small and i dont know if it will feel nice

  • Is it CA legal??

  • Great song choice

  • is that a watch on your wrist?

  • Shooter needs to learn how to properly handle that weapon

  • Gr8 review thx, opened up alot of options 4 me for my purchase...

  • bRILLIANT REVIEW. tHANKS!

  • you are so fn dangerous its no wonder you didn't shoot the camera guy when they walked in front of you. your grip is sad and recoil management is weak. again this is an example of how NOT to shoot. ever heard of spanking the trigger or maybe a proper stance. you could not miss fast enough to hit #!@*. unsat !

  • @theRichardson3 hahaa..agreed

  • grrrr... "RELOAD!" You're so bad ass! Spend much time on a sewing machine?

  • Even Rocky had a montage....... fucking love Team America

  • Awesome montage and review. This video (and a couple more) convinced me to pick up a P30LS (Version 3 DA/SA trigger group). After shooting a Glock 17, Glock 19, Sig 229, and Beretta PX4 Storm (full size) as well as the P30, I am 100% convinced that this gun is the best 9mm handgun (at least for me). The side panel ergos are unbeatable, I love the trigger guard mag release system and the rear decocker is sweet. The only drawback is I opted to replace the 3-dot lumi sights for XS Big Dots.

  • It's funny how you're not wearing eye protection. I just got hit in the face w/ a spent cartridge when my wife was firing a P22 Target (I was standing 45 deg behind her right). I also had a 9mm brass hit my face when I was qualifying for the M9. I guess my face is a brass magnet. Looks like a good pistol. Be safe and shoot true.

  • Great vid now I know what gun to choose.

  • Great video man! I would be buying this gun tomorrow had I just not purchased a Sig P229 a month or so ago, This gun is on the top of my list though for my next purchase.

  • Awesome video, great shooting. That song is hilarious, is it from South Park? Sounds like it but I don't remember it.

  • o:20 - 0:27 shoots like a girl lol

  • shoots like a girl lol.....

  • that makes me proud to be a german :D

  • @omgfanboii yes you shold and you will be even more proud when you buy it

  • what a sexy gun

  • Excellent review. The level of detail you went into was very interesting and informative.

  • I love the Team America montage music at the beginning. It fit so well. Excellent review, by the way.

  • GAY music!

  • An excellent review! I just bought this pistol and put 50 rounds through it today. The gun does reload itself upon slamming home a freshly-loaded mag. It is comfortable and just reeks of German engineering. I own two Glocks as well as several high-end 1911s and this gun is a real winner. I have a Surefire X200 on mine, which fits very securely.

  • @lomcc39 do u have it in 9mm or 40 s&w?

  • @TacticalGunChannel I have the .40. I ordered a set of Meprolight tritium sights for it.

  • the only thing i dont like is the Spiderman/Batman" profile on the handguard.

  • ur a tool. nice gun though.

  • @RockstarKaraokeFan you're just upset because he can afford that gun and you cant.

  • Love my P30.. Great gun... works everytime.. I'm about 1500 rounds into mine and not had a round have a problem yet..

  • Im planning on the P30 when i turn 21 next month, but only thing i want it in 40 cal, i just have no faith in 9mm

  • the walther p99 and this are the most ergonomic pistols ever

  • I think the HK P30 is going to be my next pistol. I had to sell off all six of my handguns this summer and just picked up a Glock 19 3rd gen. I'm so happy with it, but I do want one "luxury" gun and since that means anything over 800 for me and I can only afford one. I decided on the HK. I share the same ammo as the G19, and it just looks so amazing to me with the grip and everything. I wish it was a little bit cheaper, though. It's as much as my old Kimber TLE 2!

  • this kid's face is hilarious

  • how come the barrel jumps so high?. i'm considering this over glock 17C. any ideas? :(

  • Very nice gun!

  • Have the sidearm (CCW) for 2 yrs! Love it, Love it! Never consider a Glock! Great review! Thanks for posting! Keep your eye on the target and your power dry!

  • 00:55 did it fail to go into battery?!

  • this is the best gun review ive seen GJ
