Good vid but everything depends on the paper quality. Some can be loud, some not. Some can tear after few uses, some can last long. I remember, when I was at school, I brought this technique to our class and every boy made this, after that these bangers were forbidden in the entire school in 2 days :D

In Peru we call that "soplamoco" and we use it to annoy teachers in class... well, at least that's what my class used to do hahaha =)

Also, I agree with the other people, the sound it produces really sucks hahaha, it is supposed to sound like a firecracker, I think the best paper to do it is any A4 size thick paper. (sorry if my english is bad)
