  • hey! great sound! may I ask you 'bout the bass? how's the fretboard? I'd like to buy one of those, and wanted to put on those strings, but without a good fretwork, they probably will be too hard.

can you set a low action, and straight neck?

    thanks!

  • @Pierfra007 It is a very well made bass, Fender quality at a low price. Basswood body, not alder though. The electronics/pickups would probably be the only one thing that you would MAYBE want to change. I took this bass on tour a few times. I also own a 1973 Fender Precision and I like the Squier Classic Vibe just as much.

The truss rod is good and adjustable. A straight neck is not recommended, you need a bit of a neck relief in order for the strings to vibrate or it will buzz.

  • @bassmarion thanks! I'm a "precisionist" too, and today I'm going to try a "fiesta red" model, so I can keep one P with flatwounds, and the other with roundwounds! ahah!
