  • @Karen1andKaren2 at sf ballet school girls level6 and higher wear yumikos as their everyday class wear

  • are all of their classes en pointe?

  • @asuncmel Yes, Level VIII is expected to do all of their technique classes en pointe.

  • I go to a small ballet school in a small town, how much training would i need to be able to dance like them?

  • @ToDanceIsToLiveLife There are many components that contribute to a high level of dancing including natural ability, training and dedication. To give you an estimate, around the age of 13-14, these dancers are dancing at least 5 days a week, for several hours a day. Talk to your teacher, they will have the best advice for recommended training.

  • @ToDanceIsToLiveLife well, it depends on how old u r. up to 20 years if you never go to a better school

  • that's because you are a "pickledbananana!!!" anyway nobody asked you for your sympathy.

  • I find it very hard to sympathize with youtubers that have horrible grammar

  • ALL OF THEM ARE WEARING YUMIKO LEOS.

  • @simplymarisaa Imagine a school where a Yumiko is required...paradise :)

  • I wish I was as good as these girls!

  • I don't tink I'll ever be able to do any of this things.

  • I have question, Is there any ballerina has big chest? How does get small back?

  • how old would these dancers be? because they are amazing!

  • @MrWabblewobble they're probably 14 to 18 ish..... not entirely sure

  • @Ipswich92 14-15 are most likely in level 6 or 7 level 8s are all 17-18 because next is the professional division and they need to be out of school by then

  • @MrWabblewobble Level VIII students are generally 17-18 years old!

  • their dancing looks so powerful as well as joyful. it's kinda magic watching them dance, incredible, I love it :)

  • i like that, unlike students of sab, they have good, controlled port de bras, maybe not that of russian students, but definetley good, and there are some reallly good turners!!

  • @broadwaynballet sab students control their arms in the same way

  • @AFdancergirlio I dont really agree, the balanchine technique doesnt really focus on port de bras very much

  • @broadwaynballet umm their artistic director was a balanchine dancer so their balanchine too

  • @AFdancergirlio No I understand that, but it's still a different school. Sorry if my opinion has offended you.

  • i hate flappy wrists

  • that floor looks SLIPPERY! (:

  • beautiful!! It looks like they are all having a blast :)

  • they were probably yumiko leotards

  • what brand is the tirquoise and blue leotards that the girls where wearing??

    does anyone know??

  • @balletgirl212 It looks like a Harmonie leo to me...

  • i love the penche near the beginning! so beautiful!

  • They look so good. How does PNB's summer program compare to SAB and ABT New York?

  • PNB's Summer Course is routinely ranked in the top 3 or 4 programs in the U.S., along with the programs you named, SFB, and so on.

  • they're 16-19

  • 2 of the girls in this vid are 15.

  • well one is but the majority are 17 and 18

  • WOW they're all so good :( how old are the girls in this level?
