i got told on a recent royal caribbean cruise that it is actually the liberty of the seas that is the biggest between the freedom and independance, it is bigger by 2 inches but they call the 3 the same size. so technically it is the Liberty of the seas that is the Biggest cruise ship in the world until the oasis arrives.

Oasis and Allure of the Seas are sister ships. The Oasis is still under construction (just completed it's sea trials) and the Allure won't be completed for another year.

Liberty and Freedon of the Seas are the same size. They are slightly larger than the 150,000 ton Queen Mary 2 but the QM2 is slightly longer. The new Oasis of the Seas will be around 220,000 tons and larger in every dimension.
