In your opinion, it is probably not productive. In my opinion, it can be. Filming elevators I know is an unusual hobby, but everybody should respect each others hobbies. If you don't like elevator videos, just don't watch them. You don't have to write stupid comments about them. What teenagers consider "somebody who doesn't have a life" is somebody who does something unusual or against their opinion.
