@hameed Thanks for info, but i have already known most of the characthers from pictures. I have already read all of ASOFAF books, with acception of A dance with dragons because it hasn't been released in my country yet. The Game of Thrones series is good by my taste, but i still like drown pictures for characthers becuase i have seen those first.

HBO has earnt a lot of respect from me.. Just to know that they ok'd the second season of Game of Thrones after seeing only the first 2 episodes. You know they are NOT stupid .. you know that THEY know when they HAVE SOMETHING!

This show could've been so much better. They fucked up the Baratheons.

Robert was supposed to be big and broad shouldered, instead he's just a fatass. Renly is supposed to be handsome, tall and broad shouldered as well. He's neither. Still haven't seen Stannis, hopefully he's not as bad. Jon Snow sounds like Keiran Lee which is pretty lame. Cat was supposed to be good looking. The direwolves... that was a huge let down, played by tiny dogs. Also the lack of battles sucked.

@frunchzz Robert was big and broad shouldered but by the time we meet him he had spent 17 years of living a luxurious life of a king. I personally find Jon Snow + Cat were casted very well, and the direwolves are only pups in the 1st book; they'll grow.

I do agree that Renly was poorly casted though

@frunchzz Robert was still big a broad shouldered guy, but he'd been living the life of luxury and it got to him. This was in the book. And I don't know what you mean about Cat, she's beautiful, and the actress they picked is perfect for a medieval woman who, though still relatively young, has given birth to five children which ages you, especially in those days. The lack of battles was simply a budget thing. Hopefully we get as least one epic one next season.

@StellaBellaOla Yeah, but in the tv series Robert is too short and doesn't really seem that broad shouldered. He's just fat. Cat just looks too old, the actress is really good though so I won't complain too much. With regards to the children, Cersei had 3 kids and she's still beautiful, you can clearly see the age difference between the two although there wasn't really one in the books.

Hope so too. Also, Illyrio is not fat enough, he was supposed to be "a boulder". Just saying.

It looks like most, if not all, of the art used came from a Russian artist who calls himself Amok online. The english version of his site is at en (dot) amokanet (dot) ru

Click on galleries and you can check out individual portraits and such. Although after he had various crashes and had to move his site years ago, Amok has never recovered everything that used to be there.
