Jandros, it looks like Asiya is Ukrainian but she sings in Russian. I tried to find the lyrics for you but couldn't find any, even when using the cyrillic letters :-(
@Qumak13 Privit! :D Yep, Ukrainian, but practically all Ukrainian performers sing in Russian because Ukrayins'ka wasn't allowed for 60 years of the Soviet regime. So now relearning Ukrainian is a national pastime :) And yeah, thanks so much for trying to find lyrics, but apparently it's a hopeless situation ;)
@Qumak13 I forgot to add, Irina Bylik sings a few songs in Ukrainian, and it's a beautiful language! Also Sofiya Rotaru who sings in Russian, Polish, Moldovan, etc. Do you know of her? Hey, thanks! It's exactly the same with me. Unfortunately this artist only released 1 album (in 2000) with music like this. After that, she went pop-euro-techno-commercial, per advice from her husband, as I understand it. And that is just too bad, because she plays beautifully. And this kind of music is almost "lost" ... lost somewhere in the past .....
