HELP does anyone have or know where i can find an mp3 of the song You Know How Ladies Are by Claire Hamill? I heard it on the radio today and have been hunting it down, i can only find the whole cd album for sale but it costs £30!! I cant afford it, i HAVE to hear that song again, its from the album stage door johnnies! please help!
I have always wanted a house among the trees Where the clear of the day meets the green of the branches I have always wanted a house among the leaves Where the heat of the noon meets the cool of the evening High above the canopy of clouds and asia blue Cast my mind into the deep Never wake andnever sleep Lost among the innocence and search for it anew Know that I’ve been here before, high among the treetops -oh ....
I remember talking to Claire and buying me a drink at the Kirk, she was wearing a black leather jacket with Claire written on the back in brass studs. All my mates were really jealous. That was a few years ago, how time fly’s.
I remember seeing Claire on the Whistle Test back in the "Seventies", and she was a big hit with old "whispering bob". I was always entranced by artists who could sit there with just a great voice and an acoustic guitar, and totaly entrance you, great stuff Claire, keep on keeping on!
of course I'm not miming!! come and see me live...can't you believe i sing like this? ha ha!!! If it looks like I'm miming than that is the fault of the audio feed or the filming .I can assure you it was all live...listen to my introduction..ha ha how funny

Beautiful, clean voice. Nice to see a "real" singer-songwriter-artist again.

I saw Claire for the first time in 1972 opening the Pocono Raceway "Concert 10" I think she was 17. She looks and sounds and looks incredibly fresh!
